Tye Fields, a 6'9, 265 lb white heavyweight KO'd former champ Bruce Seldon last night. If he steps it up, Fields has the size, power and conditioning to break the top 10 next year. He had no amatuer career and lacks a good defense. But he is powerful and seems to keep people off him by going on offense. Best of luck to another one of our fighters who isresisting the caste system in sports.

Now is the time for Fields to step up and take on some upper tier fighters. He is 30 years old and has to start going for a title bout within the next couple of years. The best thing he has is power and intimidation.I have seen a few of the guys he has fought and they might as well have been knocked out before the fight began.Keep up the good work Tye.That was a great knockout of Seldon and he is a very big guy who was a former heavyweight champion quite a while back.

If Tye Fields starts to take boxing more seriously, he could bea real threat.

Tye Fields is fighting another B-level fighter tonight in Ed Mahone (23-5). Fields has beaten guys like Bruce Seldon, Saul Montanta, Sherman Williams and Sedrick Fields. But he is 31 and needs to step it up if he ever wants to fight for a title. After he throws away Mahone in 2 rounds tonight, he needs to fight top 20 boxers like Fres Oquendo, Larry Donald and Owen Beck.

Here is a pic of Ed Mahone, who was KO'd by Vitali Klitschko in three rounds:

Never saw him fight other than a few clips here and there. He certainly is a big intimidating guy with power and he's a southpaw. The reason he has to stay so busy and fight guys outside of the top 20 is his lack of amateur background. He's had to learn the skills with his feet in the fire if you know what I mean. At 35-1 it has to be said about him that he is a natural fighter and not just a big guy they are trying to make a fighter out of. How many big guys have we seen try their hands at boxing only to find they didn't have fight in them.
If I could train him the one thing that he has the ability to learn in a short period of time is to improve his jab. With an 86 inch reach he could use his jab better both as a weapon and as a shield by keeping his elbow high.
He's never going to be a Willie Pep, but a heavyweight with his size and a clever right hand can go a long way.
He already has.

Last night [March 24th] .Timor Ibragimov made Kenny Craven quit after 2 rounds-next for Timor is Calvin Brock there latest black hope. Jean Francois Bergeron Ko'd Steve Pannell in 3 rounds [Bergeron is the best heavyweight in Canada]. Fields at 266lbs beat the dog crap out of Ed Mahone. Mahone was once a prospect but like Kirk Johnson was never the same after taking his whipping from Vitali, the best heavyweight since Marciano. Vitali didn't just beat these guys he broke there heart/spirit/will.
The ring has not seen Russian/Ukrainian toughness since the days of the great Irish and Italian fighters of years gone by. The black man in America has life to easy to win many fights against a tough Eastern European fighter. Always remember there are no food stamps in Moscow.

Although I agree with your premise, Gary, that a struggle to make a living will make people more likely to pursue boxnig as a career, I don't think that explanation goes far enough in explaining the rise of Eastern Europeans in boxing.

For one, Vitali and Vlad are both well educated, with Ph.ds, fluent in many languages, and well off financially. But they continued to box, nonetheless. How many AMERICAN Phd's will you find in a boxing ring? I venture to guess, NONE.

I think part of the explanation is that Eastern Europeans haven't been fed a diet of white athletic inferiority since they were sucking on their mother's breast, like American whites. Its ingrained in our youth that they can't keep up physically with blacks, so they won't box, and if they do, they fight with fear instead of aggression. Not in all cases of course, but many.

I believe Eastern Europeans still believe that they, themselves, are actually superior to black athletes, and it shows in the ring, and the Olympics. They believe they can kick ass, so - they do.

Believing you can do it is half the battle. Edited by: White Shogun

Well said Shogun. I would add though that the problem exists mostly in The U.S and to a much lessor extent in England, France, and Canada. Most European countries, and countries of European descent, don't know of any athletic greatness other than their own. Germany and Australia are great examples of countries with incredible athletic pride and success.

It's all part of the Marxist movement in this country. The leftist vermin in the media, Hollywood, and academia aim to demoralize white America and eventually take over. I am avery thankful for my east european brothers who will never fall for this bullsh*t.

Tomasz Bonin "the Polish Bull" is 34-1, his only loss was to Audley Harrison in a fight that was stopped too early, even the British fans were surprised at the stoppage. Bonin won again on Saturday night. Like to see him get a rematch with Harrison. Also a young White Heavyweight [American] named Travis Kaufman has now turned pro, he is 3-0. His amateur record was 52-12.
The Eastern Europeans have put a huge dent in the caste system as far as boxing goes. The days of Peter McNeely are over, there are at least 30 good solid White heavyweights in boxing at the present time.
White Shogun your post was great!!Keep up the good work!!
