Thanks for starting this thread Jimmy Chitwood. Yes Trey Cunningham is a man among boys. He is a 5 time ACC Hurdles Champion.

Today Trey Cunningham finally won the elusive National Championship in the indoor 60 meter hurdlers. Cunningham had a bad start
but still ran the 2nd fastest NCAA Indoor 60 Meters Hurdles ever. He is in the record books with a time of 7.38! If he didn't stumble out of
the starting blocks he would have broke the record. Regardless the kid is amazing and should be one of the favorites to make the World Champs
for the United States this summer. Here is the race! Congrats Trey! :)

On a rainy & wet track and into a negative wind Trey Cunningham runs a 13.07 to obliterate the best hurdlers in all
the NCAA East Coast Championships. This kid is gonna win some Olympic & World Champs Medals someday! :)

In a relative sense, this is the best performance of the year by one of our guys. To run a time that fast under such poor conditions is astounding.

Off a time like that he already is contender for a medal of some sort. His biggest impediment could be the killer trials, the US national team is alway so deep and you can't be off form and expect to make the team.

PS, some years the US has 4 members to make the World team if they have the defending champion or the Diamond League champion. This could make making the team that much easier for him.

PS2, I looked up the results from 19' and the defending champion is an American so Cunningham only needs to come 4th at the trials if Holloway decides to run through the rounds.

Nothing is a lock as there are too many crashes and one bad start and it's wait until next year but his chances are very good if he holds this form for the US championships.

I just want to see him get a PB. Obviously if the conditions would have been hot and dry with a slight tail wind, he'd have easily been in the 12.9s

I agree but he might have been close to a time in the high 12.8's even with a maximum legal wind. The kid is just so much
better than any college hurdler in America and he is already a top 5 hurdler wordwide in my honest opinion. That time of
13.07 was on a cold wet track into a negative 1.5 wind! That's insane to even think about!

So today at the 2022 NCAA National Championhips of Track & Field we saw Trey Cunningham put on a show. He won the race despite a few flaws in the middle of it and still ran a 13.00! This kid is gonna be a legend
and I honestly believe he will challenge for the 110 Hurdles World Record in the next 4 to 6 years. Congrats to Trey Cunningham who went undefeated indoors and outdoors all season long! :)

For those who doubt this kid he is tied with the legend Renaldo Nehimiah for the 2nd fastest 110 Hurdles Time in NCAA History! His winning time of 13.00 is also the number 1 fastest time in the World right now! :)

Wild that fsu has relatively fair track and basketball teams while the football team is execrable.

Trey Cunningham wins the Silver Medal at the 2022 World Championships of Track & Field. Trey Cunningham only lost twice all year indoors and outdoors. Both times he lost he finished in 2nd which has to be one of the
most amazing seasons of any hurdler ever! Yes he was undefeated indoors and outdoors all year long in college including the SEC Champs and NCAA National Champs. Only at the US Trials Champs and World Champs
did anyone beat him. Even the losses were mostly due to a slow start which is very rare for him. He is a legend already and now has entered into the pro ranks making the world take notice. Here is the race.

Here is a video from earlier this year before Trey Cunningham graduated from Florida State University. It gives you a little idea of how
hard these track stars have to train combined with great genetics to reach the top of the sport! Trey C. will shock the world in 2023!

Congrats to Trey Cunningham. Here is a picture with him next to the female winner Abby Steiner. She was also amazing!

Trey Cunningham ran a 13.21 110 hurdles to win the N.Y. Grand Prix. He looked terrific.

Only white guy in the race and clearly the best of the bunch. Funny how that works
In commercials he's the token dufus; in real life he's simply the best when given a fair opportunity.

Today was the first time I really read through this thread, so glad I did. So much White talent out there finding ways to thrive in spite of. . .

at the end of the race after the last hurdle you could really see his flat 100m speed, his hurdle technique is second to none.
