This was written by a guy who knows nothing about track. You can tell when he describes Wariner's eye opening colour or build. the 400 metres has had white champions and medalists post Larabee, it's just none were American. Also 400 metre runners are much slimmer than 100 metre or 200 metre runners, so Wariner's build falls into this range...
