Looks like Tony Romo is going to take over for the aging Drew Bledsoe (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Al3rDCT_hFLPizXTg.SGx DlDubYF?slug=ap-cowboys-romostarts&prov=ap&type=lgns). Now I tried to look up Romo on the internet and find its orgin but I couldn't find any results. Does anyone know and how does everyone feel about this? Is it time for Bledsoe to hang it up or should he keep playing?

I have never liked Bledsoe. Romo might not be very good either. But the cowboys do not have much of a choice at this point. They should try to get Schuab from Atlanta if you ask me.

What happened to Quincy Carter?

On a more serious note the Cowboys have officially given up on the season. Also this could be the end of Drew Bledsoe's run as an NFL starter.......

Bad move, although pundits should laud it. Romo 'plays black' after all; he's fast.

Parcell's looked like a volcano about to erupt, of course, he's been looking like that for oh, about 15 years or so now!

One noticeable instant difference was that Jason Witten became involved in the Cowboys offense for the first time this season as soon as Romo took over. Witten is an awesome receiving talent and his involvement was long overdue. With Romo being quite mobile, Witten may be freed from having to doall thepass blocking hewas forcedto do for Bledsoe.

Romo threw for over 220 yards in just one half of action in his first start, so maybe the change from Bledsoe was overdue. Parcells is known for being overly loyal to "Parcells guys," not for being quick with the hook.

Quincy Carter was cut by the Alouettes

Tony Romo is back from injury for the Cowboys.
