Adamek should end the career of Golota tonight. Talk about opposites! Adamek has the heart of a lion while Andrew cracks very easily. Too bad as Golota had all the phyiscal tools to be champ in the late 90s to the mid 2000s.

Golota is way past his prime right now.   10 years ago Golota could have won this fight with a knockout.  He certainly wouldn't win on points.  I don't think this fight is going to be competitive.  Golota is such a shame.  He had world class boxing skills and if not for his stupidity and cowardness he would have been champion.  I think he got robbed twice against Ruiz and Byrd though.

Adamek entering to some sort of Polish rap song! Why do the European fights have such grand entrances? Nothing wrong with it, just so differnet from the U.S.

Polish rap is very popular in Poland.  I myself listen to lots of Polish rap.  I won't listen to the American garbage though.

Adamek crushed Golota. So does he stay at heavyweight now? I would say yes just because he will make alot more money. He could never compete with Wlad or Vitali though.

I actually felt bad for Andrew.  He did try and at least he didn't quit.  Adamek says he may stay at heavyweight but he is making a big mistake.  He has no chance against the Klitschko's as he is too short.  I also think alot of other top heavyweights would beat Adamek like Alexander Povetkin and Oleg Platov.

Yes he looked like Lon Chaney in the ring(The Mummy). I hope he retires boxing doesn't need another Oldyfield or Mercer parading around the ring nearing 50. I don't think Adamek will seriously campaign at heavyweight as he really looked like a cruiserweight that didn't go on a calorie restricted diet for his training camp. Also with him still holding the ring belt the other champions have to come to him for the big money fights at cruiserweight.

Golota should retire.  There is no need to keep taking damaging punches when you have already made millions.  He has a few kids and he needs to be there for them.  Noone wants to end up like Riddick Bowe or Muhammad Ali with permanent brain damage.

This should be the passing of the torch. Adamek is the best Polish fighter of this generation. He's not close yet to Dariusz, but he's the best in so many years.

Golota needs to retire, while his brain is still fully functioning.

Hopefully now we will never have to subjected to another "Foul Pole" fight again. What a wasted talent. Golata should just learn a trade other than being a bouncer at a night club. Hopefully he was not like a typical affelet and burned through all his earnings. My suspecions are that he is broke and fighting to survive. How sad.

I hope Golota retires.

I'm not a big fan of his, after being disappointed so many times. He had plenty of talent as we saw in his two fights with Riddick Bowe, but sometimes lacked heart and generally lacked good common sense.

Adamek looked very good but Golota wasn't much competition at this point in his career. If Golota was 10 years younger he might have  a chance.  I hope Adamek goes back down to cruiserweight.  Making a jump from light heavyweight to cruiserweight already was  a big deal.  Going up to heavyweight will destroy his career.

"I never treat any fight as something personal and it was the same this time. I did not plan to knock Golota out, it was not my intention. After the first knockdown, I knew I could hit him at will. I paced myself in round 2 and 3, waiting for the right moment to up my tempo. Andrew Gmitruk was telling me to not get too wienery. I remembered this every minute I was in the ring. It was not easy win, regardless of the outcome. I had to be careful not to get hit by this powerful 260 pound man. It worked."Â￾

There is alot of talk about one of the Klitschko's facing Adamek.  The fan base would be huge as you would have tons of Poles, Germans, and Ukranians watching this fight.  I sure hope this fight doesn't happen though.

There were signs in the fight that he would have problems dealing with a heavy handed heavyweight's power. A few time Golota hit him with slow sundial type shots that got his attention. Make those punches the punches of Golota of 95' to 99' and Adamek would have probably been counting sheep on the canvas.
