Zibikowski returned a punt for a touchdown today. Shortly after the announcer couldn't help himself. His comments went something like "Zibikowski the stong safety on the team, not one of your fastest players"

I can remember reading aboutZbikowski at one of those notorious scouting services when he was a high school senior. They had him running a 4.3 40, though of course they had him projected as a safety in college rather than a cornerback.
Pat Hayden was the color commentator who made the comment about Zbikowski. Hayden can always be counted on to add a disparaging qualifier after a white player makes a great play.
BTW, that was a sensational return for a touchdown by Zbikowski.

Tommy Z showed his trademark toughness during the return -- he broke
several tackles. When is the last time you saw a black
kick-returner run through a would-be tackler? Usually, they run
straight toward the sideline, in order to avoid contact.

I was impressed with his closing speed on Reggie Bush's TD run. Zmbikowski was closing on him the whole way. Bush slowed down the last couple of step to show-off and it nearly cost him. Almost had a Don Beebe leon lett situation. What a retarded remark by Hayden. Edited by: Kaptain Poop

ND should have won that game. Zib had a great game too. It was funny seeing him outrun all his black teammates when chasing Bush. Not one of your fastest players? I think not!

Saturday. The guy simply has a knack for playing the ball, and he
shows pretty good speed on the field. He also has great hands,
which is why he is used as a punt returner.

his name was Z'bikavious Jackson, he'd be household name by now, and
well on his way to an NFL career.

Again??!!?? Unbelievable! I watched the first few minutes to see the starting lineups, and that's all it took for Pat Hayden to say after a catch by Jeff Samardijza, "He's almost like having another tight end out there."
