The Titans did sign white free agent WR Grant Mattos a few weeks ago. Mattos spent a year with San Diego but had no catches (but did make two tackles as a STD!). He has good size at 6-2 and 220. One thing in his favor is that he played for USC when Norm Chow was there. Chow is now the offensive coordinator for Tennessee. DraftDaddy wrote this about Mattos:
"[A] long shot player to watch out for is tall street free agent Grant Mattos, who spent a season on the Chargers roster coming out of USC. Tennessee OC Norm Chow, who coached Mattos at USC, absolutely loves Mattos' size, hands and quickness and has gone out of his way to praise him before, so he could find a spot on the roster with a good pre-season performance."
