There is a series of books out there called "The Politically Incorrect Guide to...." everything from history to global warming and the constitution.
Has anyone thought about writing a good book with detailed references on the topic of this sports caste system. It would really be a fascinating read. If there could be a way to write it in a compelling way that the average Joe wouldn't immediately label it a racist KKK book I really think it could take off.
It could be titled "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Professional Sports". Or maybe something like "Broken Dreams: Behind the Scenes of the American Sports Caste System". It would be really cool to get quotes from players high school on up.....all the buzz words from the media....guys that weren't drafted or invited to senior bowls....it would be fascinating. Showcase guys who got their chance like Jordy Nelson and Edelman and show how time after time these guys had to be walk-ons.
