So, I'm watching Keith Olberman, on MSNBC, and he's just announced the winner of the "Oddball of the Year" story from his show: a close-up look at a group of people (all of them white, and overwhelmingly male) whose idea of fun is getting together in a remote corner of Oklahoma (this, as opposed to the non-remote corners of Oklahoma), and shooting off automatic weapons. And by this, I mean f*c%ing maching guns, and assorted creations of warped, no doubt white men, which can fire off hundreds of rounds per second. They shoot these technological marvels (which make one call into question the so-called superiority of Western "civilization," assuming you're still inclined to believe in such a thing), in an attempt to blow up cars, trash cans, and random junk that the owner of the land and creator of the annual, "Auto-Shoot" has placed out there for target practice. How nice.

I guess it could go without saying--but I'll say it anyway--that if a bunch of black men got together anywhere (especially rural frickin' Oklahoma) and shot off tens of thousands of rounds of ammo, no one would find it amusing, or odd, or a legitimate expression of one's Second Amendment Rights. Rather, it would be seen as threatening, a dangerous, insurrectionary movement...but white guys with guns? Awww...no problem. We might make fun of them. We might pity their poor little boys who they drag to this crap starting at age 5 to make "real men" out of them. But rarely would the bulk of folks in the U.S. ever see this in the same light as they would if the participants were black, or Latino, or, heaven forbid, Arab-American!

And thus concludes example 11,345,567 of white privilege for 2006...the clock will reset in a few days. But the tune. Will sadly. Remain. The Same.

Funny that he would write a post on a 'blog', about a television show, in a room cooled with air conditioning, on a personal computer - the latest laptop, no doubt - all while complaining about 'Western' civilization!!

I pointed out some of the lies he told in his debate with Jared Taylor (claiming non appearance triats don't cluster race and then two minutes later giving examples of how they do) and asked him why didn't give "race doesn't exsist lectures to La Raza and the NOI and this is what I got

I said that non appearance traits and country of origin traits are not concordant with things such as intelligence, behavior, etc., and they aren't. The studies that indicate an ability to determine geographic area of origin, and which white nats use to "prove" the reality of race say nothing about the concordance of such microsatellite markers (which are junk dna that code for nothing) to things like intelligence, criminality, etc. None of the studies white nats use to "prove" race actually conclude that there is a correlation with those factors. So you and the others use studies that say one thing to prove another totally unrelated thing. That is the point I was trying to make. The lack of clarity on a few of the points that night I will acknowledge. But there were no lies. Merely differences of opinion, for which there is science on both sides. The conclusions which persons like yourself draw, from the studies you cite, are not actually found in the studies themselves, nor believed by the authors of those studies. Not one of them agrees with the conclusions of Taylor, etc., and note, the people like Rushton, Jensen, etc. do not have the scientific background to do dna studies themselves, so they extrapolate from the studies of others, to reach conclusions based on shaky statistical inference, not science: conclusions that are not accepted by the scientists who actually did the studies.

As for La Raza, please note, 1) National Council of La Raza does not advocate race supremacy--some of the Aztlan folks do, but that is not the same group; 2) your translation of that as "the race," is sloppy at best. To Mexicans, race doesn't mean what it means to whites like you. They view it as a cultural concept, not a biological one: this is why they accept the notion that "the race" is comprised of both indigenous people (who are non-European in ancestry) and those who are mixed...if they believed in pure race concepts they would not view the matter that way. As for NOI, the Yacub theory, though admittedly bullsh*t and nutty theology, does not suggest that NOI members think of race as a biological concept. There are some within NOI who are melaninists, to be sure, but it is not part of the larger philosophy of the group. As for the melaninists, they are full of sh*t, definitely, and I have said so publicly many times before in speeches, etc. But for a white person to lecture people of color on their bullsh*t makes no sense. It's called cleaning up one's own backyard. I got white folks to deal with, since that's the group to which I belong. Not to mention, melanin-supremacy isn't exactly a major national problem--they don't run sh*t, unlike racist white folks who find themselves in good law schools

Well, the bottom line is that the largest difference they have ever found in two people's DNA is less than 0.2 percent. We have not been able to find genes for major traits yet like intelligence, fast twitch muscles that cross racial lines.

You cannot tell what race a person is through DNA without looking at the gene for melanin. So to me this proves there are "very small differences" that cross ethnic lines. To me this would prove that the NFL RB position being 100% black is a bunch of malarkey!

Jared Taylor of Amren just spoke at William and Mary U. and there was a big campus debate on the things he said about blacks and diversity. Not all by any means anti Taylor comments.

Our old pal is at it again - He has another howler of an article up calling white christians "spiritual terrorists" who are far worse than Louis Farrakhan and the Nation Of Islam.

At least hes being more upfront about his seething hatred for whites and his Jewishness instead of hiding it under the "I'm for equality and diversity" blanket that so many of his ilk do.

Much as Muhammad Ali once famously noted that no member of the Vietcong had ever referred to him by a common racial slur, as a way to explain his lack of enthusiasm for fighting in Southeast Asia, I must point out that no member of the Nation of Islam ever told me when I was growing up that I was going to hell, that my soul was an empty vessel, or that I would burn in a lake of fire for all eternity, just like all of my Jewish ancestors, because we had rejected God. The folks who did that were white Christians: teachers, preachers, other kids, and co-workers-all of them spiritual terrorists and religious bigots of the first order. And not one of them was selling a bean pie on the corner, or copies of The Final Call. Yet, we as Jews make nice with Christians just like that, who smile while they condemn us, whose sense of spiritual superiority apparently causes us no alarm, nor spurs us to denounce them for their chauvinism, while the Nation of Islam's occasional episodes of anti-Jewish sentiment send us into fits of apoplexy.

Oh sure, a black Muslim could attack me on the streets I suppose, either because of my whiteness or my Jewishness, so in that sense, the potential for such a person to harm me exists. But how many of us who are Jews have really been attacked by members of the Nation of Islam? Not only in absolute terms, but relative to the number who have been attacked or otherwise abused by white Christians?
