Hi there Baseball fellows, I'm quite new to this section. Because I haven't followed baseball at all since Mark McGwire's retirement a few years ago.
Ever since Barry Bonds broke the two "most-followed" home-run records: Hank Aaron's 755 and Mark McGwire's 70, I have become more disgusted with baseball.
I know there's no denying Bonds' playing skill, it's his stinking personality and attitude I despise, and it serves him that he's under scrutiny over that steroids sort of thing whatever.
Anyway, this is about JIM THOME and ADAM DUNN. I'm interested in both players because of the following:
Jim Thome is the only active white dude with over 500+ HR's (541), and he has a reasonable chance to reach the 600 HR mark, if he plans to play another 2-3 years.
and
Adam Dunn is 29 years old, and has 278 HR's, he in great pace to reach 500+ HR's, provided he stays injury-free in the next 6 years or so.
Alex Rodriguez is 33 years old, and has 553 HR's, putting him in prime position to break Bonds' stinking record, I really hope he does someday.
