They're Now Admitting They Have Fixed Sporting Events

Even as young as I was at that time, it was obvious to me that Riggs had thrown the match against King, in order to achieve the desired, politically correct outcome.

Now Serena Williams, of all people acknowledges she couldn't win a game against Andy Murray. Years ago, Chris Evert declared she couldn't beat her brother, who was unranked, while she was the number one woman's player in the world.

Here's a link to this interesting story:

That wasn't really a "sporting event" it was a circus. I remember watching it as a kid and thinking that it was unfair that an old man had to guard the doubles court while a young woman only had to play the singles court. So I never considered him as the loser as the rules were not the same for both players. As I understand the "fix" it was mafia forcing Riggs to lose to pay back debts. That's not an orchestrated outcome from the PTB but a single incident much like the Black Sox scandal.

Tis of no surprise, as we well know (here at CF)...women are the inferior of the species. That's a fact.

I don't know what it was supposed to prove anyway. He was old and decades out of his prime, whereas she was just recently crowned woman's champion and clearly in her prime, and as you alluded to the rules weren't even fair to begin with, which I never even heard about before.

Women can't even compete with the elite males at chess let alone a physical sport where morphology and testosterone play a part yet so many idiots think that Ronda Rousey would defeat professional male mixed martial artists and that she should be on a pound for pound list for her "divisional dominance."

Logic has never been a strong suit of feminists and liberals, but eternal vengeance is.

When I was young, I always called Billie Jean King "William Gene" King because of her pronounced masculine features and mannerisms. That was back in the early days of the takeover of the "culture" by Jewish homosexuals and Jewish feminists, when "gays and lesbians" were still pretty much in the closet. In fact, Billie Jean was married for a long time before eventually outing herself as a lesbian. Today she'd undoubtedly be an "out and proud" lesbian militant decrying all the "homophobia" and "sexism" she had to put up with on a daily basis, which is what she turned into anyway later on.

In the tradition of Bobby Riggs style "Battle Of The Sexes" handicaps (whose very implementation indubitably "proves" that - just like in the movies - women are indeed the physical equals of men...) Rhonda Rousey could take on a 65-year old hyperopic sub-50 kg weed with acute emphysema, bulbous rheumatoid arthritis, scorching dysuria plus ingrown toenails in both feet who nevertheless qualifies as a "top MMA man" by virtue of turning up to a couple of karate lessons as an eight-year old.

Having recently retired from his rough-and-tumble career in philately, such a "lethal opponent" would obviously be in prime combat fettle, so a few "special" non-discriminatory "rules" which only apply to the male are clearly required: let's say, a turpentine enema followed by the consumption of a gallon of molasses with a castor oil chaser in the two hours prior to the "Contest of the Century"; no glasses / contact lenses; starched camel-hair jockstrap; and a croquet mallet to the left kidney a second before the referee bellows "let's get it on!"...

But it is all about creating a narrative and some kind of leftist mythology, and it worked. Just tonight at the US Open they were going on about how much BJ King did for women's tennis. :icon_rolleyes:

I wasn't around at the time but I heard about it in the 80s all the time watching US television. If I hadn't been a tennis fan with a book and card game on the sport's history I might have assumed Riggs was around the same age as BJ King as the media didn't usually mention that. It wouldn't surprise me at all if most people raised since the 80s believe the media narrative.

Not only was Riggs 55 and having to cover the doubles lines, he was only given ONE serve every point of his service games!...He misses his "first serve" and it was a "double fault". It was totally fixed just to prop up and promote the jewish agenda and bring the outing to all bulldykes, feminist whores, and liberal mindless wretches.
Their goal is to rid the world of feeling any shame for anything they want to push and if you verbalize any descent, it's hate speech. Someone said, "Hate Speech is whatever a Jew doesn't want to hear". Gotta love that!!!:clap2:

I don't know anything about this tennis "match" 40 years ago, other than what I've seen on TV this week. Still sounds silly -- a man in his mid 50's vs. a top flight female player/extremely powerful lesbian in her twenties.

Could a McEnroe or Connors defeat an accomplished female, in her prime, today? My guess is no?

By the way, Big Unreal, if you really want to talk about pro sports leagues "fixing" games or matches, look back 11 years ago to Game 6 of the NBA's Western Finals between the (fairly) white friendly Sacramento Kings and the all black L.A. Lakers. Other than David Stern, who denies it 24/7, there isn't a person on the planet that doesn't believe that game was not fixed. Supposedly the NBA "fixed" this game for the sake of TV ratings. At least that's what the Caste-whores in the media believe.

I disagree, I think the former top male players in their 50s could still easily handle the top female players of today.

Tim Donaghy came out and admitted that the NBA was rigged so this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I imagine the fixing is still going on in the NBA some 6 years after that incident. Donaghy was just the fall guy. I can't wait for some official or some marketing exec from the NFL to come out and admit what we here have been speculating on for years, and thats that the league has a vested interest in selling storylines and promoting inferior black quarterbacks at the expensive of the integrity of the game. Why else do you think Rush Limbaugh was fired at the mere notion that the league wants a black quarterback to succeed?

in the late 90s both of the Williams sisters claimed they could beat any male not ranked in the top 200. The #203 guy took them up on it, and clobbered both of them.

Riggs easily beat Margaret Court 4 months before he played King, and she was ranked higher than King. I think the Riggs vs. King match was regular rules.

A 40 year old Jimmy Conners beat a roided up 35 year old Navratilova easily, despite getting only one serve, and having to cover the doubles alleys.

A 43 year old Yannick Noah beat a 21 year old Justin Hennon, though she did take a set. Noah was said to have lots of upside, burst, and hip swivel. He also merely had to flick his wrist to make shots.

I think at 54, John McEnroe would take any female player in the world, with relative ease.

The Battle of the Sexes was a Cultural Marxist propaganda piece, and a really effective one at that.

With all of the aflletic "stars" (Kaepernick annointed after less than a full season and even many dwfs can't seem to stand him) anointed and guys like McNabb defended endlessly I have seen more people on message boards saying "I guess what Limbaugh said has some truth to it". With guys like Randall Cunningham hyped up as legends when he had THREE full complete seasons, and only 3 more seasons being close to complete, pretty much being done by 31 with one odd year coming at 35 where he had a great year. McNabb missed a lot of time and also was done early 30's. Funny how th msm can make your remember things differently, this is what happens when you watch NFL Network programs and ESPN constantly, memory fades and their agenda takes place of your own memory as we have seen with some older posters here cough Jim Brown cough. RG3 will likely be the same. Wilson, I am not sure, was surprised to hear him on an interview talking very positively of Manziel and how talented of a qb he was and how much potential he has a pro prospect. Wilson might be one of the few black quarterbacks who makes it long term. For a while I thought it would be Freeman, but they throw anything at the wall and hope it sticks.

The NFL is much harder to rig than the NBA, you have 22 players on the field at any given time, many rotating out of sub packages, you would have to get them all in on it. Now refs can INFLUENCE a game, a call here, or a call there, momentum is lost, teams get down and don't want to beat the refs and the other team. Many of these teams have a losing culture in the lockerroom and are only there to promote themselves.

an older black defensive player is shown on one of the top 10 countdowns I believe about the NFL , laughing hysterically about how its not football, its just entertainment.

Riggs was a known gambler who's occupation was hustling rich socialites out of their trust fund money on the tennis courts. Laying down for a pay out would be par for the course of somebody like that. Logically a fix can't be ruled out because of this and because he blew out Court who was roughly on par with King and the hype for the second match was bigger because King was American and King had the libtard crowd firmly supporting her. Riggs was the equivalent of a heel in wrestling and King was Hulk Hogan...

The one thing I love about this place is people who believe in all kinds of Conspiracies are put back in their place by rational posters
