I've said this in various threads but I will make an official thread in February of 2022. My
three white sprinters that I predict will go sub 10 wind legal this summer are as follows:

Rohan Browning

Matthew Boling

Julian Wagner

Of these three both Browning and Boling are about a 99% chance in my honest opinion this summer barring a serious injury. I would even bet any of you guys if you doubt this.

By the way I didn't include Devin Quinn. He has been running in quick sand. Quinn still has
time but I honestly doubt he will do it this summer. I hope I'm wrong but he doesn't look good.

My long shot is Julian Wagner but my gut predicts he will do it too! Yes this may sound crazy but
you heard it here first. Please remember that.

I don't usually do these kinds of predictions but I want some positive vibes for these 3 guys. Feel
free to chime in with your thoughts and tell me why these guys will or will not go sub 10?
 
Two of the guys I predict to go sub 10 out of the 3 sprinters above only have wind legal personal bests of 10.11! So that tells you the confidence I have in them.
 
WL, I love your 3 a.m. sub-10 predictions. So much optimism, so early in the morning, lol. Thanks for all the track and field updates, it’s hard to keep up with otherwise.

Yes my good friend. I had a few cold ones last night, some good music playing and the buzz was flowing. I thought, let's make a prediction! :)

Let's see how I do? I have a feeling that at least 2 of the 3 will but I'm rooting for all of these guys!
 
I'll swap out Browning for Devin Quinn in my own predictions. My scientific assessment is that Quinn is the most jacked, I always mark for size, and size does matter!
 
Today Boling almost went sub 10 in his first race outdoor of 2022 and we are only in March. He ran a wind legal 10.03 for a new personal best time! :) It's
only a matter of time for the sub 10 and sub 20 barring a serious injury. I hope my prediction is right on all 3 of these sprinters!

 
The 2022 Outdoor Season is less than a month old. Already 2 of the 3 guys I have picked to go sub 10 wind legal this summer are in the top 9 fastest guys in the world so
far. The other sprinter hasn't opened up his season yet with the weather in Europe being alot colder. We will see how all three of these guys do going forward but so far so good.

By the numbers, Quinn has regressed since 2019. He did run one indoor race this year (6.63 in France), so it looks like he is active.

Have not seen anything from Tortu yet. I did see this blurb about this plans.

“The 200 has always been in my ropes but for various reasons I have never been able to prepare them in the right way. Now I want to do it, next season I will run both distances and in the 200 point to a medal at the European Championships in Munich and the final at the Eugene World Cup “. Thus the blue sprinter Filippo Tortu, Olympic champion in Tokyo with the 4×100, speaking to Atletica TV.
The blue champion, answering questions from fans via Instagram, also spoke about his state of mind after returning from Japan: “I was afraid of feeling satisfied, emptied, but I found myself even more determined – he declared -. Olympic gold unlocked me, made me understand what my goals must be. I found myself with a great competitive hunger, the one that was also seen in Nairobi on 20.11 (last September 18th ed) “.
Returning to next season, Tortu added: “I know I can do certain things and consequently I have to set big goals. This does not mean that I will achieve them, that I will win, but that must be my goal. I have to train with the maximum result in mind. “
 
Interesting tidbit from him. His thoughts and goals are consistent with a young man who has tasted the highest level of his sport and wants more...as he should. I also believe he is looking at the 200m as Jacobs does not run the 200m and he would be the fastest over that distance in his country as I believe he can go sub 20 this season. Unfortunately I still think the Jacobs will eventually be busted for PED's and the gold medal will be taken away from the Italian relay team. To put his 20.11 200m into perspective he was about 2 full strides from going sub 20.....
 
Well I got the first prediction right today as Matthew Boling ran a 9.98 wind legal at the Tom Jones Invitational. I also predict he goes sub 20 wind legal this year and
hopefully sometime very soon. I believe it takes the pressure off a sprinter once you've done it and helps you to relax more. Congrats to Matthew Boling and I hope it's
only the first of a long and historical career as he becomes one of the stars of the US Track & Field Team.

All time Aussie 100 meter record this summer. He is capable of doing it and I'm going to say that he does!! Postive thinking for the win! :)

Browning is a shoo in (as they say in the States) to go sub 10. Does anyone know when he is running?
 
Well it's been a very long wait to see German Sprinter Julian Wagner open up his summer season. Today he did winning his race running a very fast 10.12 +0.1 wind! A very impressive opener and about where I thought he would be. If he had a good
legal wind today he would have been close to 10.00 seconds flat. Remember I predict he will go sub 10 this year wind legal. People thought I was crazy. I'm very happy to also see Emile Erasmus in fine form. It would make me even happier if he could
also join Boling in the sub 10 club as well as I'm also still waiting on Wagner and Browning. Gonna be a fun summer on and off the track. Good luck to all of these guys as they have the talent to get it done! :)

Julian Wagners race today translates to a 10.02 with maximum wind and it's his first race of the year. Not a bad start as a base. The 10.12 he ran is only 1/100th of a second of his p.b. from last year. He will break that on his way to a sub 1o in my opinion. A
fitting place for him if he doesn't do it sooner would at the 2022 European Championships of Track & Fieild being hosted this year by his home country of Germany. That would be epic! :)
 
Speaking of bad luck with the wind. It seems like everytime Wagner races in the last couple of years that he is running against the wind, with no
wind or not enough wind to even talk about. Despite this he is in fine shape and should go 10.05 spprox. in his next race. Wagner is well on his
way to backing up my prediciton. I feel confident.

Still waiting for Rohan Browning to return to the track last seen training in Italy.
