Rabbi Joshua Hammerman: I’ve got a Tim Tebow problem:

I want to root for the guy, but I’m afraid of what will happen if the hulky Denver Bronco quarterback continues to pull off what is fast becoming the Greatest Gridiron Story Ever Told. Since taking over as starting quarterback earlier this season, the Heisman winning national champion from the University of Florida has been winning consistently and dramatically, in the final minutes of the game or overtime, relying on powerful legs rather than his infamously erratic arm and confounding skeptical fans along with the Bronco management, who, it is said, were hoping he would fail.

That so many of the responses find the article so unbelievable that they think it might be satire is plausible. The rabbi's crazy quantum leap from tebow's success to flaming mosques is so crazy that it's actually funny.

Colonel Reb, remember our discussion? I think I'm convinced now.
 
Yeah that is what he is afraid will happen.....

From what I have seen, Tebow's faith inspires those to become better people, to work harder at what they want, to be more thankful for what they have and more family oriented. Plus the story of him being born despite the doctors saying he should be aborted and would never make it...it makes people realize those choices aren't up to us, they are up to God. It is silly to think that a football player can make people feel this way, but when they see the criticism he has faced, the hatred and the way he shrugs it off and continues to live a very positive life no matter what other people think and be very successful..that is when people realize the little things in life that make them upset at work etc. aren't that bad and that is no reason to let others get to you. I don't know if I am wording this right, I can't type exactly what I am thinking and what I have seen from Tebow fans in Louisiana and Colorado.

It appears The Jewish Week just took the Rabbi's maddness off their site.
 
That Tebow's success could inspire Mosque burning is ridiculous. Does anyone really believe the Rabbi is genuinely worried about the affairs of Muslims? If he was, he would condemn the Palestinian genocide movement championed by his fellow tribesmen in that rat’s den in the Middle East. What he fails to mention in his honest list of improbable Tebow effects, is his anxiety about jews, the only thing jews are ever worried about. Jews have gained so much power of over culture, politics, and economics that any type of rejoicing throughout the White community that - gasp - does not include them makes them anxious. A sad, paranoid state of affairs indeed.

What a joke. I hope this rootless cosmopolitan meant this "tounge in cheek". I don't buy (for a NY minute) that the rabbi gives a spit in the wind about the muhammdens. Regarding Tebow...it would be pretty awesome if he lead the Broncos to the Superbowl. Although, I'm pulling mostly for the Packers & Pats. ;-)

Gentlemen, it does look like this Rabbi went too far in terms of hate and has been censored -- original article was deleted. But I'm very happy he had the guts to show his true colors and told us how he thinks. No doubt a significant percentage of his followers and those of his "ilk" feel this way, also, but realize even a Rabbi or Jewish American can "go too far" in this politically correct country:


Hammerman's edited piece has now been completely removed from The Jewish Week website. Hammerman has also removed the piece from his own blog and replaced by a message that reads: "The piece has been taken down and I apologize to all those whom it has offended. Some additional reflections will be forthcoming. Thank you."

. Indeed! ;-)I think the rabbi's article was pulled because his (fellow Talmudic) tribesmen (who run the MSM) don't want their true sentiments exposed to the (sheeplized) general public.

He is worried about himself. It just sounds better to appear to be worried about someone else. Usually, once the mosques all got burnt down the Christian people tended to kick the Jews out next.

Aside from that he likely takes delight in seeing Christian lands contaminated with Muslims. I think they hate Christians far more than they hate the Muslims anyway.

Once again, I agree 100% with Dixie....If I "was black" I'd say "I's agree 110% massa Dixon".

The Rabbi did not pull his article because he "offended" Tebow or Christians, he pulled it because he showed his true colors. How he and others of his "ilk" really feel about non-jews, particularly gentiles.

Anyway, Tebow must really "walk on water" as Rabbi's are publicly saying they are sorry to him and asking for forgivness. This is kind of the reverse of Glen Beck, who's only aim in life seems to be praising Jews after he was deemed a potential "anti-semite".

P.S: I'm surprised this Rabbi didn't attempt to make himself the victim. You know, I was sort of expecting that Rabbi Josh (or one of his followers) would go out and vandalize their own Temple at like 3:00 AM -- break windows, spray paint Nazi signs on the doors and exterior of the building, then blame it on those "out of control, Anti-Semitic Tebow fans" in Stamford, CT!!!


I wonder how far Sarak Marshak resides from Rabbi Hammerman's Temple? Just over the border in NYC?

No one is ever truly sorry for this sort of thing. It wouldn't have ever crossed his mind if he wasn't suffering from a paranoid hatred of Christians. This pernicious rabbi will never seek counseling to help him overcome his bigotry or appear in a Denver church to apologize publicly before the people he offended or do any of the prostrations demanded when a non-Jew commits sacrilege against the PC religion.

Well technically the Romans did it at the request of the Jewish Priests.
Also, let's not forget that this Jesus fellow's only claim to divinity is as both an extension and fulfillment of Jewish scripture.
