It is just all a shame. Total shame. We are never going to see another non-black athlete in the medals, let alone the finals in most track events. Just leaves me feeling numb and removed now. The entire general public will just lap up this Bolt Bull**** and regard "athletics" or "track and field" as a black dominated domain. No room for anyone else. Plain and simple. It will trickle down to every age group, cementing and segregating absolute belief that non-blacks do not "belong" on the track.

It happened in the U.S. a long time ago, after the Summer Games in Mexico City in 1968 with the "black power" salutes by "oppressed" black American sprinters John Carlos and Tommie Smith on the medals stand. Sprinting has been a "black thang" here ever since.

Another reason it's dying is because of doping allegations & accusations.

Which upcoming athlete wants to work REALLY hard for someone to turn around & say "It's highly likely there doping."

Lets say 3 or 4 white athletes in the future start running 9.7's, 9.8's, maybe even a 9.6, people are just going to come on forums like this & accuse them of doping.

It's not worth putting in the tremendous amount of effort & hard work it takes to get right to the top just to hear that.

It's unfair.

It never happened to Wariner beyond one rumour that he failed a drug test. I just think track field is fundamentally dead in the White American community. Like I said in another topic Blacks are even winning the US trials in throwing events, there isn't a genetic advantage for them in that or they would win strong man contests and weight lifting medals and those wins are extremely rare.
