The Comebacks-Caste System Scene

Overall, this was one of the worst films I have ever seen. However, there was a scene that spelled out the anti-white thinking of the Caste-System as plain as day. There was a spoof of Remember The Titans where the black coach makes an "anti-white colorblind speech" to his players, who in this version are all black except for a white CB. He then calls out the defensive starters who will play against the featured team. When the white player thinks he hears his name called and gets up, the coach tells him he isn't good enough to cover blacks and makes him sit down. Despite the context, it actually pointed out some truth. The only other people in the theater besides me and my girlfriend were about a dozen more young whites, mostly guys. None of them laughed at the scene. I told my gf that in trying to spoof that movie, they actually touted much of the lies and discrimination the Caste System is built on. Yeah Shogun I guess I am too. I didn't have the best feeling about it but figured it would be more funny and less stupid and vulgar than it was. I didn't read any reviews before going, and that was a mistake. I should have watched that movie with "The Rock" in it instead, as I heard it was pretty good. Anyway, I am kind of glad I got to see it because of the in-your-face mention of the Caste System. I definitely wouldn't recommend the movie to anyone though.

Oh, I still am. That's why I am going to go see it with my fellow meathead friends, and I plan on being as loud and obnoxious as possible in the theatre (the way blacks usually do). I can't wait for this scene in the movie to play. As soon as it happens, the whole theatre will hear US and our IDEOLOGY.

I don't know what to make of it when they put those stereotypes in movies, even if it's a spoof. I think while people look at it as it as if it's overstated, they still might think there's an element of truth to it. The way many people think is "If they put it in the movie, it's just an overstated version of what some people really believe. If people really believe it, then there must be an element of truth to the actual belief, that blacks are faster, more athletic, etc."

Now there are many examples of this, like the new version of the longest yard where the team doesn't have "speed" without the "brothas," and Stone Cold's comment of "that's how a white man runs the football" by running directly into the defender and grinding out the extra yards.

The worst example I can think of is White Men Can't Jump, even though the white guy is shown as good at basketball, and eventually does dunk the ball in a game, all most people remember is the title. This was out when I was in first or second grade, and let me tell you it influenced my beliefs, and I'm sure it did for other kids as well.

Woody Harrelson had a great line in that movie though, something like: "A black man would rather look good and lose, whereas a white man would rather look bad and win." I have found that axiom to be true, at least in my own experience.

I agree with you Shogun about that quote. It is very true. I also agree with Slide that the title/line has been uttered about a million times more than I care to remember.

Shogun, haha that was a pretty interesting video. I don't like it though how the white guy says "white folk can't do this," funny how the blacks are like "yes you can, yes you can." But that guy is wrong the electric slide has to be one of the most popular dances for white people, lol. Every single wedding reception, dance, or event that has group dancing has had done the slide! I chose that because it's a fun dance, and I like the group dynamic of line dancing. When a lot of people get involved it usually makes for a fun time

How did this do at the box office? I think bigotry and discrimination against whites is still off limits as far respectable debate topics for a couple of reasons. Mainly its the white liberals white supremacist notion of white patron colored loser and how sinecures have been created to service that ideology. Second white men still have some sense of dignity that keeps them from playing victim. Maybe that is why such a movie was perhaps a flop.

As far as I know, it was a flop. I think it had more to do with the other qualities of the movie though. It was really pathetic. Way too over the top and vulgar for me. Now that I looked up the gross, it has made $13.16 million as of Wednesday, so yeah its a flop big time.
