Like last year, i was pleased for leicester winning as in my review their key players were white. They have also signed a polish 19 year old prospect who looked very good in euros. Any way, heres my review of the teams. I was one of the more optimistic posters of last season. Purely on the fact that my theory is the champioship is arguably better than the bottom half of the prem, and its where all of the white talent is languishing in droves.
Manchester city-last year i was scathing of them, only making them semi passable with the signing of the briliant kevin debruyne. Well they are still not great, but they got otimendi in january last season, noilito and a 19 year old winger from ukraine. Zablaletta back fit. Also im not sure if jovetic is back with them who i also rate. Jurys out so ill give them a better . Edit* they have just signed john stones so ill bump them a mark.6/10.
Chelsea-As i pointed out last season, chelsea could either be a very white friendly team, but also a african cup of nations team in a drop of a hat. Signing kante is not looking good, i still think theyll field a average of 6/7 white players, but it will be a decline, so they are up their as the teams to root against. 2/10
Manchester united- zlatan and henrik from dortmund sounds promising, buf they ruin it by getting bailey and the most overated player i have ever seen in pogba. How jose mourihio treated mata in the game the other day was beyond the pale. Good to see thd talented luke shaw back after horrific injury. Rootability rating, 4/10.
SPURS-i noticed that they signed this vincent jansen. As a striker! Can anyone shed some light on him?. Spurs have to be marked up for that, pochettino is a very white friendly manager(southampton being a good example), and one of the reasons hes turned spurs from a african cup of nation team to a barely passable 7/11 white starting team. Mason should be back fit as well. For improvement to the levy rednapp days, ill give them 7 on 10.
Liverpool-they started so pormising in tranfer market rumours but reality hit home when they signed mane and wjanaldum from the terrible newcastle. Klaven and the return of the talented danng ings being the only bright points. 1/10 for getting my hopes up.
Leicster-signed some black midfielders, but got rid of kante, and added kapuska, who could be one to watch out for. Purely on the fact i like fuchs, drinkwater, albrighton and vardy, ill cut them some slack. Great to see them and vardy champions, the brexit of the premier league. 7/10 for rootability.
Arsenal-wenger is annoying as i definitely blame him for speeding up the process of "french" players coming to the league. Ive noticed they signed rob holding and carl jenkinson again. However i also notice there squad is similar to chelsea where it could be very white friendly, but very dark in a matter of a few changes. Ill give them 4/10 as im hoping jack wiltshire will return.
MICELLANEOUS NOTES
i other more peripheral teams to root for will be stoke, west brom, southampton.
My sleeper team has to be southampton, with long, austin and rodriguez up front, tadic and holbjerg(any good i am not familiar with him) fonte, cedric, and hopefully ward prowse gets a showing.
Also look out for burnley and middleborough, replacing the racist newcastle and villa as the newly promoted teams. I noticed they signed negrado, which could be interesting, also jordan rhodes could be the new charlie austin.
Anything you guys want to add?apologise in advance for my poor tableting skills.
