Running back committed to Arizona State looks dark white to me I don't know for sure what he is , but until I know otherwise I will consider this a victory for the caste system. Kid looks well put together, and has some talent. The pac 10 is becoming my favorite confrence as far as white running backs go. Edited by: White Power

Well he dosen't to me to each his own show me proof he does not have African features he looks dark mediteranian white.
 
Odds are with the caste system that any runningback that looks black probably is. I thought Ian Johnson was white too, but was dissapointed to find out he wasn't. First off, not many white people wear that thing on his head.
 
So he is not black but olive complected like I said Mediteranian White from Greece or Italy or some other European country.
 
Walstad is a norwegian surname.
His skin seems - at least on the photo - more pigmented than the average nordic Joe, but to me his facial features doesn't look ******* at all.
 
I agree with you that he does not have nrgroe features, and he does look like he is white go to scout and look at the next picture of him he looks rock solid and has a white mans athletic body. He dosen't have a brotha's physique.
 
he probibly is mixed he appears to have white features, although extremely dark skin, and a white surname. He could be italian, greek, or even portugese or spainish by my bet would be a white dad and black mom.
 
If you look at his picture on rivals he looks white to me. No negroe features, and he's going to Arizona state as a running back.
 
For sure he is not white. He looks part black and maybe part polynesian.
 
I bet I'm right on this one. Taylor is white, and I think in the end he will be proven to be a white running back possibly some Hispanic, but still white enough to be included on this web site.
 
Look at his Rivals photo - extremely dark eyes, ******* nose (although small), close cropped kinky (i.e., afro) hair.
Plus he's brown!

I personally think this kid's got a white dad/ black mom with the very Euro name Walstad. He could be just a quarter black though or be 1/4 or 1/2 Polynesian- so maybe he's a "slight" opponent of the caste system. WP, if you want to root for him go ahead-no one should tell you not to.

For instance, I will be rooting for 1/2 black Donald Brown b/c I've heard such great things about his character and he went to Catholic H.S near where I currently live in NJ. There are some fully black athletes I like too, like Chancey Billups, Dwight Howard and in football I loved Tiki and I currently like Brian Robiskie quite a bit. To each his own.
 
I don't want to root for him. I just dont beleive all white people are from the aryan race blond hair and blue eyes that's all. Many whites who are dark but still considered white like some in my family that come from a country in Europe I shall not name.
 
Was Al Capogne considered White even though he was a very dark complected Italian from Italy. That's all I'm saying folks. Whites come in different shades as well.

Actually Taylors dad Tracy is White and his mom is black. Taylor was a teammate of my son's in high school and I know him and his dad personally, sorry for all of the white folks that are disappointed, but he's 1/2 ours!!..and 1/2 yours!!
