What, no thread on this guy? A true white rookie forced into the starting job after the first and second team QBs go down and he steps in like a five-year pro and wins two games. He won this last one after engineering a two-minute drill-drive that resulted in a TD throw to Kevin Walter with less than 20 ticks on the clock. At one point he ran 17-yards on a 3rd-and-15 to keep the drive alive. T.J. was 26 of 44 with 2 TD passes.

I gave up on the NFL more than 20 years ago but i have slowly been drawn in to watching this team.

I gave Yates respect in the Week 14 thread.

Texans clinch the division, and their first ever playoff spot. I'm really happy for them and especially for Gary Kubiak, who slowly but surely turned the organization into a winning one.

this kid is doing great. i don't know how far they can go, but with their solid running game, good defense and sure handed receivers (Walter, Johnson, Daniels, Dreesen, Casey) they sure can have a good run. the beauty of it is they don't have to ride the passing game. look at Bucs in 2002, they didn't even have as much as that.
