Surprised to learn Dan Rafael is Jewish

Unlike Max Kellerman and Eric Raskin, he doesn't seem to hate white boxers.

During his Wednesday "chat" on ESPN, Dan Rafael said he's not Christian and doesn't celebrate Christmas. So I did some searches and discovered that he's Jewish.

They now reside in Fairfax Station, Va., although Rafael travels often for his boxing beat.

I was pretty much certain he was Jewish for years as I had school mate with the same surname who was a Sephardic Jew. This guy anglocized the pronounciation so that his name didn't sound Spanish. Plus Rafael looks Jewish big time to me.
