Just a few minutes to discuss three players who at one time or another have been accused by the media of being out of control--code word for not being a white boy scout.

Jason Williams: This guy for some reason has got a lot of grief over the years despite the fact he has been one of the NBA's most entertaining players. Unlike ball hog supreme Iverson, Williams has always been more interested in dropping dimes. The real head shaker is when he was run out of Sacramento due to the lie he was the source of their problems due to out of control play. The media was falling all over themselves proclaiming Bibby was a huge upgrade. Bibby is a solid but very boring performer and several years since the deal the Kings are still stuck in no man's land. In otherwords they should have stuck with Jason . The Kings areonly moderatelyexciting today but back when Jason was running the team they were electrifying and the most entertaining team around. The media was wrong. Bibby was not an upgrade and the Kings and their fans were better off with Jason. Granted he is not the greatest scorer around and given his quickness he should penetrate more often instead of just settling for the three pointer but I have always liked him and the memphis fans are happy to have him. He will likely be traded at some point is my guess.

Bob Sura: Sura was a good but not great college player at ball hog U Florida State. Sam Cassell was a teammate enough said. He has bounced around like crazy and has had a ton of injuries but lately he has been better than ever as an all everything point guard for Houston. After playing best ball of career at Atlanta last year he was quickly dealt to Houston. Started off injured but Houston has come around once he has directed things. Mind you he is playing with a guy who likes to shoot the ball 50 times a a game in McGrady but Sura has been verging on triple doubles and has only gotten better with age. Good athlete. In college media complained he was out of control-heaven forbid a white guy play loose.

Chris Anderson: Speaking of loose this free spirit languished on the Denver bench only to watchCarmelo heist up shot after shot to live up to the hype. Why this quick leaper does not start is a mystery. Not a great offensive threat but a great rebounder and shot blocker and of course crowd pleaser. Now with the Hornets hopefully Crhis will see his playing time expanded and if so his Rodman type game could prove valuable.

All of the above three are free wheeling players who bring energy to the game.

It's funny because 2 out of the 3 were also in the Nba
Dunk Contest.Do you think maybe they don't like athletic
white guys that disprove the myth.Jason Williams is very
entertaining & lightning quick. He is a good player but
should drive to the basket more.Jason does take some
crazy circus shots but is not as bad as the media says.
If Bibby is so good, why no rings or even a championship
appearance yet?Sura was one of my favorite college players ever.He had his own fan club at FSU as the kids
were SURA T-Shirts and one game had a camera man from
espn wearing a Sura shirt going into a commericial. He
has been screwed over his whole career. He has Grant Hill
type ability.Last season he ended the year with 4 straight triple doubles for the Hawks but they took away
the 4th one and only gave him 3 to tie Kidds record.I
hope he fits in Houston.Sura is so athletic even in his
30's he takes people off the dribble with ease.Chris
Anderson has the potential to be like Keith Van Horn but
as you stated, they don't play him.He should be starting
and would become a star with 35 minutes a night.

Well Sunshine i dont agree with what you are saying about Bibby. Yeah Jason was a great player and a skilled passer but Bibby is a big upgrade when it comes do to a pure shooter and a favorite among his team. Bibby is a fun loving guy and when it comes down to a final shot in a game the only other guy on the Kings that you wont the ball in hand besides Peja is Bibby.

Bob Sura had a 35 point game tonight. The guy was on fire. Sura played 43 minutes(OT). He was 11-16 from the court. He was 6-7 from 3 point land. Bob showed what he can do when he gets some playing time. Sura is finally getting his chance to start and he is doing a great job with it.

Sura just missed another triple double in tonights win.
He had 19 points,11 rebounds and 9 assists!This kid
should have been a star for a decade now but no one
wanted him.Gee,I can't imagine why.

I wonder if he were black if they would've tried harder at the
end of the game to get him one more assist.
