I don't like his decision. He doesn't have a good enough all around game yet to be much of a factor at the next level yet.Tyler Hansborough is way further along his way.I hope Josh changes his mind but right now he is going for his dream giving up his last two years of eligibility.Good luck to him regardless. He has the ability to be a future superstar!Edited by: white lightning

Well, he is not as polished (or as tough as Hansbrough) but may have more of an upside in the pro's and could, if he develops a mid range jump shot be a star someday.

Bad decision. They will use his inexperience to bury him on the bench for years. He will never start an NBA game. At Duke he at least could have been part of something special.

Although I think he will be a better pro than collegian, (this man will kill in the dunk contest next year) he is coming out a year too late. He didn't have the most productive season, and will be lucky to be a lottery pick.

He should have stayed another year to develop his game and add some strength and weight to his frame. I agree that his upside is tremendous and he could easily be the next slam dunk champion(if he's given the opportunity). I am disappointed as a Duke fan. Zoubeck, King and Singler will have to step it up on Duke's frontline.

I am pretty upset by this too. It seems as though he needs to grow a little more, physically and mentally. Maybe he'll prove us wrong though.

I'm as big a duke fan as there is,and I think Josh McRoberts has made the biggest mistake ever. He needs to stay the full four years. He's only gonna get better and Duke would really be a great team with him and the incoming freshman the've got coming. He's not a post up player and he doesn't have a good outside shot. He's gonna be a bust. Somebody is giving him some crappy advice. Being a great dunker does not mean you are a great basketball player. what a waste

Good for him he's going to make millions of dollars.

I am more concerned with Josh living up to his potential than the dollars he will make. He quite simply needed another two years at Duke. I hope Mark B is wrong about his "he's gonna be a bust comment" but we all know white players (especially from Duke) are judged far more harshly and impatiently than black players. he needs to put on weight, work on his post game and develop his outside shot. Can't be just a great athletic dunker. The NBA has plenty of those.

In the nba he's going to play foward, but at duke he's playing center. So why waste time learning to be a center when he's going to play foward. Josh has a great feel for the game and will be a great player the only thing he needs to work on is his jump shot because it sucks.Edited by: white tornado

the only thing that scares me is he doesn't have much of an offensive game right now...he's not really strong enough to post up in the pros and he doesn't shoot great from mid-range and outside..he has awesome ball handling and athleticism but it is gonna be hard to drive to the hoop if teams sag off him because they aren't afraid of him hurting them from outisde..plus i really wanted him to stay so duke could be NASTY next year. oh well

They may still be nasty

If Josh doesn't like where the scouts think he may get drafted , he could come back to Duke. Just don't sign with a agent just yet. Not really familiar with all the rules of eligibility anymore. They are so convoluted.Edited by: guest301

He needs to live in the weight room for a couple of years before he hits the NBA. He has the potential to be a good NBA player but he doesn't appear to have the strength to rebound with those guys yet. He definitely needs to test the waters without an agent so he can come back if he chooses.

yeah i hope he doesnt get the agent...actually i hope he ust comes back but o well

What a bunch of crap! There's no ambiguity there. I'd love to see about 1,000 white sites like itthat never get criticized. Then we will have gotten somewhere.

Well that Nation of Islam artical could have just as easily been an ESPN artical. ahahah.

They are right about a few things... Such as McRoberts not living up to his expectations.

Oh well maybe this will mean that Brian Zoubeck gets a chance.
