My prediction is the almost inevitable matchup sometime during their careers Super Bowl, a all-Manning matchup between brother Peyton and Eli. Colts/Giants Super Bowl with Peyton barely coming out on top in a sensational game. All the hype leading up to this game between two white stars and their legendary father would be great from a CF perpective. I hope it happens and I predict it happens barring injury.

Interesting picks, 301. The Colts will have a long ride, playing three road playoff games. It can be done of course, I think the Giants did that last year if I recall.

The Titans look stronger to me than the Giants as far as #1 seeds, and we rarely see two #1 seeds face off in the Super Bowl. If I had to bet, I think the Titans make it in before the Giants, which means I feel the Colts won't get past Tennessee.

But I'd certainly love to see your scenario come true. Nice script for a story. Where's bigunreal?

Funny line about bigunreal, as long as he thinks it's funny.

I see the Colts/Chargers game being the key matchup in the AFC. They are the two hottest teams going in but as Parcells was qouted once, "you are what your record is" The Chargers are a very talented 8-8 team but still 8-8. I think the Colts win in a offensive shootout.

I hope bigunreal thinks it's funny too, especially since I agree with him on many things. The 'script' feel of a Peyton-Eli Super Bowl is similar to the way everything seemed scripted when the Pats won the Super Bowl after 9/11. I think some of us kinda expected New Orleans to win the Super Bowl after Katrina, too.

Well I was asking myself a question last night after the Colts lost. Why did I post that prediction on Caste Football of a Colts/Giants Super Bowl? In answer to that question, I am reminded of the story of a man in Arizona who was upset one day and so he drove out into the desert and found the first patch of cactus he could find, took all of his clothes off and jumped ass first into the mess of cactus. He got back in his car and had a long painful drive into town to see his doctor, as the doctor was pulling all those cactus needles out of his backside, he asked the guy a question. Why did you do such a foolish thing, the guy in reply said it seemed like a "good idea at the time". Thats why I posted that prediction, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I had a sick feeling when the Colts lost the coin toss heading into overtime, I just knew Peyton would never see the ball again. Oh well, it's fun to watch Weddle and Gregory back in the secondary for the Chargers and San Diego is more Rivers team now than LT or the long gone and almost forgotten Merriman.Edited by: guest301

From a business perspective, from a rating's perspective, this was the NFL's dream match-up. The networks would of loved this to happen in the NFL to take with them to May's upfront ad buying period.Edited by: Maple Leaf
