Good post, I heard about this from announcers I heard discussing it in a game I watched last year. Along with Danny Woodhead, Eric Weddle, Chris Johnson, Sam McGuffie and Denard Robinson- Taylor Martinez finishes his acceleration in about 3 steps. All those guys can run a sub 4.5 40, and all but Weddle are in the 4.4 range or faster.

I think Nebraska can win a championship this year if Martinez keeps his ankles healthy and increases his completion percentage as a thrower which I believe will happen. Nebraska has a scary amount of talent.

Still, it's a shame with all the success the state of Nebraska has had with white RBs that Pelini wouldn't have offered Cory McCaffrey, Nile Knapp and a guy like Eric Gerber or Luke Shaffer. At Nebraska I don't think 3 more white RBs would put Pelini's job at risk like it would at most FBS schools.
