Week 2, FCS power-house started 17 Whites, 1 Native American and 4 blacks -- 3 CB's and a RB that took over for a budding white star that transferred to Washington State. Actually, most of their white stars from 2024 left via the transfer portal -- QB went to Iowa; WR went to Northwestern. A significant number went to Washington State.

No reason to think their depth-chart has changed appreciably in two weeks. Here is a link that contains the names, photos and bio links of SDSU's 17 starters: Click "Participation"for photos.

BTY, the boxscore above is from SDSU's win against Sacramento State, which not too long was a top contender for the FCS title and fairly white friendly.

Last few years, they produced several NFL players, most notably RB Cam Skattebo (transferred to ASU/N.Y. Giants) and OL Jackson Slater (Tennesee). Last year they had Danny Scudero, who left for San Jose State and is looking like a young star for the Spartans.

Team currently has 4 of 22 white starters DL Dylan Hampsten, LB Derek Houston OL Sawyer Hays, OL Aidan Meek

Team recently went D.E.I. and hired a black head coach, who wears a Cowboy Hat during games and practices. Basically, all his top coaches are black. Even has an Indian/Pakastani WR coach, who actually reeled a 3 star white WR (Hayden Anderson), but never plays and should transfer.

4 of 5 QB's are black, including a Georgia transfer. Incredibly, their only white QB, who will never play, is a transfer from HBCU school Bethune Cookman :sisigay:

Sacramento State has applied to move up to FBS, but their request has been denied. They vow they will try again, claiming they are building a new stadium and lining up N.I.L. money. But no conference wants them and they will not be accepted as an Independent.

Nice write up Thruthteller! Impressive numbers @ 17 ; but expected for the Dakota's. Like Everything about the Jackrabbits even their Logo!

WR Lofton O'Groske (Soph. 6'-2" 210) is off to a good start thru 3 games....23 receptions 287 yards 2 TDs + 39 yards rushing

i think UC-Davis is trying to move up to FBS ; probably doesn't help Sacramento State's case being so close to each other. Cam Skattebo made them relevant.

Thanks Bucky and TwentyTwo. You are both right, nice to see them stay the same, even with major defections.

Twenty-two, just looked up UC-Davis: Mountain West is adding UC Davis as non-football member. I did not know that, until you mentioned it. So all the other programs move up, except football! Might happen a bit down the line, but seems like UC-Davis is scared to make the football move, because they fear they may not reach the 15,000K threshold? Although, it's rarely enforced. I think Idaho is the last school kicked out of FBS football for low attendence?

I bring this topic up, because a lot of fans want the Dakota and Montana schools to move up. Perhaps form a new conference, similar to the M.A.C.?

I really hope they do not, as it will probably mean they'll have to recruit less white athletes. Very little upside to that, particularly with NIL money being such a factor. Plus, they (Dakota's and Montana schools) are dominating and competing for national title's every year at the FCS level. What's the upside for moving up? A solo, mid-December bowl game against a Western Kentucky or Florida Atlantic type school at 12:00 noon on ESPN 2? They get better, prime-time exposure during their FCS title runs.

An institution needs an invitation from an FBS conference, and must sponsor a minimum of 16 varsity sports with a full allotment of football scholarships to meet the basic requirements for the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. The most well-known stadium-related requirement is an average home football attendance of 15,000 over a two-year period. If a stadium is too small, it must be renovated to meet this attendance threshold. Additionally, schools must meet minimum spending requirements for athletic scholarships across all sports and maintain a competitive schedule against other FBS opponents
