Let this appointment bear as a reminder that Republicans are no different than Democrats. This senorita had smooth sailing through the hearings in ways that Bork and Thomas only wish they had. Of course, having a pair of melons and being one of the "preferred" ethnicities is the American meal ticket.
I respectfully don't agree with your "no difference" comment between the Republicans and Democrats. 31 Republicans had the political cahones to vote against her and risk a Hispanic backlash in the voting booth. I have plenty of problems with the GOP but just not buying into the "no difference" arguement which is often posted at this website.
Can you name me one Republican, currently active, who has ever spoken out (or even hinted at) in support of White people and their interests? They're too busy apologizing for the hideously White, male presence in their ranks and are bending over backwards to please everyone but said people. As for the Republicans not in favor of Sotomayor, their opinions don't matter to the MSM and the Republican media machine.
