Liverpool has indeed considerably darkened during the 2010s and are far from being a likable club. So far this season, among regular starters, they've featured 5 blacks with Mane, Wijnaldum, van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold, and Matip. Among their bit-part players, there are the blacks Origi, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Joe Gomez. At a minimum, Liverpool have 9 black players. Firmino and Fabinho are more racially ambiguous, and if they're counted as black, then Liverpool have 11 black players.
Among players that aren't black are the Egyptian superstar Salah and white starters Henderson, Milner, Robertson, and Alisson. White players Lovren, Shaqiri, and Lallana are only bit-part players currently.
