Heroin use has increased 40% and has become readily available since we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan 16 years ago for the "War on Terror". It's by design. Another way to weaken the white middle class. Sad to see, almost everyone I know, knows someone with opioid addiction..

It used to be the "losers" in society that got hooked on H, but now from what I have seen it's party kids to people with legitimate injuries/chronic pain. With the way doctors prescribe pain pills and the hedonistic lifestyle of many youth this is going to be a problem for years. I know from myself that I am leery from taking anything stronger than non prescription pain killers as I have experienced an opiate high from even these pills a few years back.

A touch of topic but I'm blown away by how many my age (mid to late 20s) are addicted to prescription medications. I always kind of brushed that stuff aside until one day a coworker brought it up that she was on anti-depressants. Shocked me at first because she makes 70k per year is engaged bout a house has good friends and pets, and always has an upbeat attitude. Really solid life on the surface. I get asking around nonchalantly over time and come to find that literally every one more or less that I know is on some variation of anti depressant anxiety adderall or bipolar medication (coupled with the now almost ubiquitous birth control). And they've been on them for years. Culprit seems to start with (((doctors))) prescribing "treatments" and word of mouth. I've been through my rough patches as I'm sure we all have but never even crossed my mind to turn to any of these OTC drugs. It really is mind blowing how genuinely miserable people are below the surface when you dig a bit deeper and how they feel the need to mask it and not fix it to go along with the diverse judeo-cosmopolitan lifestyle . Frightening really
