Who was the ref in that fight? Golota was constantly assigned crooked New Jersey money-launderer Randy Neuman as his assigned ref throughout his career. I don't know why he didn't protest and demand an honest referee.

Truth is MOST of these fighters don't have the knowledge themselves nor do they have agents who really know how to force the right and fairest deals. When they do learn it is usually too late.You caught on to the latest scam of PED testing which is used to remove opposition to the chosen ones. Povetkin and Fury have both been targeted by the drug testing fraudsters and boxing commissions.

There you go. Ward was taking a slow beating and still would have won. If Kovalev ever fights out of Vegas again I'd have to say he is his proper fool.

Doesn't appear to be the case on BoxRec forum, which is usually populated by the usual trash. Just saw one guy who has 5,000 posts saying delete my account I'm not following boxing anymore. I even saw Boxing Specialist 2 posting there.
That's so funny! He was never banned from here that I know of.
On those popular boxing forums some of the idiots don't know a low blow when they see one. A fighter doesn't have to be hit in directly on the spot for a low blow effect. When hit just above the muscles tense up and contract having the same effect as if the shot was lower. Obviously Ward knows this.

At Sherdog someone started a thread saying that Ward just proved everyone wrong about the first fight but how? Many felt he lost that fight. Today doesn't change that. Many still feel he lost that fight. And he needed his custom referee, judges, testing and announcing to pull this one off.
I'm not much into the sport anymore due to crap like this but I'll still watch guys like Lomachenko and GGG. I won't say I'm quitting watching completely. Mostly because I'm not surprised by this. I doubt GGG gets a fair shake in a few months either as that fight has also landed in Las Vegas.

They just go along with whatever their favorites do. They will never admit that Ward cheated or got a bogus decision. They just spin it in his favor. This is why boxing will never die. Too many of these clowns go along and support the criminal activity in the sport.
I'm not too concerned about GGG losing to Canelo because he's just too much reach, power, and position to overcome by the shorter Canelo with no footwork. I doubt that one will go to the judges.

Kovalev while wobbled wasn't that hurt and wasn't out on his feet and Tony Weeks acted like Dave Hepner or another WWE stooge referee, by not seeing any low blows.
Fine if you think Kovalev was hit with legitimate shots you issue a count while he is sitting on the ropes as that would constitute a knock down, then if he can't or won't continue you stop the fight. Weeks immediately stopped the fight??
If the Nevada commission doesn't immediately suspend Weeks in Nevada the commission is a joke, but of course one could argue they are a joke after sanctioning the Mayweather money grab in August.
If Kovalev doesn't get an immediate rematch his career could be in a spiral through no fault of his own.
