I saw Jennings' last fight, he's not a big puncher, he throws flurries but doesn't seem too accurate.

That should be an easy fight for Liakhovich unless he's there to lose like Timur against Mitchell.

Isn't this just a fight to push the marxist agenda by showing a white getting beat by a black american?

through 7 NBC is showing the black guy with alot more punches landed, just propaganda to reinforce the decision he's going to get.

black doctor stops the fight after the 9th round to ensure the black boxer wouldn't blow his sure decision by getting ko'ed. I don't know why the fight was stopped? a black eye? it seems ridiculous. but obviously euro fighters need to fight in the safety of their home countries if they want to win.

NBC commentators had a hard time trying to sell Jennings as a knock out machine, which, as his record shows, he's not. Let them hype him up, this guy will never be a threat in the division.

True. The caste media and negro worshipping wiggers will get their hopes up, and then Jennings will get KOed by a prime European HW.

I haven't been impressed with Lyak. since he deliberately threw away his win over Riddick Bowe, but I don't know why that fight was stopped with only one round remaining. He didn't seem hurt at all except for what appeared to be superficial bruising around one eye. He looked sluggish, couldn't get through the negro's defense at all, and I didn't notice any protest about the stoppage from him or his corner. He's past his expiration date, I think.

The White Wolf is now officially a one hit wonder. Great performance against Brewster, otherwise forgettable career. He's lost what bounce he had. He could hang around for a few trial-horse paydays if he wants to trade some more brain cells for money.

Frenchnative you have the best avatar next to Dempsyfire's. Between you and Dempsyfire, you both show arguably the best four fighters in the world right now.

I pretty much agree. The White Wolf was pretty much a one hit wonder when speaking about his big fights. I will never forget how he owned Briggs for 11 rounds, and 2.30 minutes. He then gets KO'd in the closing seconds by Shannon.

I have not viewed the recent fight, but I guess his last hurrah was his gallant effort against Robert Hellinius. That fight he showed up in tremendous condition. He was moving well, his body was ripped his punches had speed and snap. He could not take Hellinius's power shots and got KO'd. It appears that KO loss took alot out of him as well as the father time. The White Wolf will always be respected by me, regardless. That was an epic battle against Brewster and almost won against Hellinius. Time to find something else to do.

I said Riddick Bowe but I meant Shannon Briggs. Duh. He was well ahead on points and I remember his corner screaming at him before the final round - just stay the hell way from him! So what did he do? He stood right in front of Briggs with his jaw sticking out. I'm still not sure if he threw that fight on purpose. I thought he looked a little soft when I saw him before this last fight. Yep, one big win, Brewster.

Former WBO heavyweight titleholder Sergei Lyakhovich will be fighting Deontay Wilder on ShoBox Friday August 9.

Sergei hasn't won a fight in over 3 years and has been inactive with just 6 fights (2 wins, 4 losses) in the past 7 years.

He hasn't had a win over a top 100 heavyweight since he beat Lamon Brewster in 2006.

If he shows up in the condition when he lost to Hillineus, he may have a shot to pull the "upset" against the affeletic fraud called Wilder.

Lyakhovich may be taking this Wilder fight as a pre-paid loser. Wilder is flat-nobody at heavyweight but his promoters are playing him for 1 big pay day.

I'm afraid that's the likely scenario.

Wilder-Liakhovich tops August 9 tripleheader

Following Saturday night’s fight card at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California, Golden Boy Promotions will return to the desert venue on August 9 with a ShoBox tripleheader headlined by unbeaten heavyweight knockout artist Deontay Wilder (28-0, 28 KOs). Wilder will risk his perfect record against former WBO heavyweight titleholder Sergei Liakhovich (25-5, 16 KOs) in a ten-rounder.

That's Great Black Hope Wilder on the deck, vs. Sconiers.

PS Liakhovich deliberately lost - threw the fight, took a dive - to Shannon Briggs.
