Before my CF brothers open up on this ^^^...lemme take a stab at the "high road". He's a pretty good actor and has made some decent pictures. However, why not "make a difference" here in the U.S. first? As far as Sean Penn goes, he's a good actor and better director ("The Pledge" is one of the best and most psychologically-frightening movies I've ever seen), but he has a warped sense of self and a delusional perspective on the realities and human nature.
