Sean Bennett

I know that about creating perception and coaches is true. It happened to me in 8'th-10'th grade in fottball. I should have been a receiver or a linebacker, but they put me on the line. I was pretty fast and had good hands, but the coaches didn't care. They put me, 5-6, 150 on the line. Go figure.
 
Hollywoodnorth,nothing you say is going to embarass me.As far as how this great country of ours is run,I think as Canadians we are so worried about losing our identity,if we have one,and our culture that things get watered down in the name of keeping things Canadian.I'm sure you've heard of the old CANCON (Canadian content).A good 60% of what you hear on Canuck radio has to be written,produced of performed by Canadians and you get a similar deal when it comes to television,talk about boring.I say if something is good let it roll,man.No restrictions.
 
I agree with you! I think Canada should have its own culture. Bob and Doug Mackenzie everywhere you hoser!

Problem is Canada is diluting its population with so many immigrants it IS going to have it own culture. Not yours though. Eh!

That garbage culture you wrote coming from the US, it is not the once "white" culture of America but the new American culture of non-whites. (which is one of the reasons for this site, to try and battle against the new culture and re-install the once proud and beautiful "white" culture) Thanks for helping!

I think most us know the so called good points and bad points of our countries. Why don't we leave it at that and talk football.
 
Don't lump whites and Jews together. They're very different things. All those things you mentioned (hippies, radical left, Communism, political correctness) can be traced directly to Jews. Of course, whites have been their accomplices, either knowingly or not. But Jews have been the instigators of most of these changes, several decades in the making.

How black is the CFL? What is the whitest
position? How many players went to Canadian colleges?

Sean is in tough trying to make the Argos this year, especially if Ricky Williams signs on. John Avery and an excellent Canadian white RB Jeff Johnson out of Toronto's York university are the returning backs. But you never know the Argos might keep him as a backup for Williams as Avery has been a bit of a disapointment and injury prone the last two years. Bennett is an excellent receiver out of the backfield and has good speed and size.
 
Bennett maybe a casualty to a numbers game. Williams will be number 1 and Avery 2. In the CFL all of the special teamers are Canadians and all of the fullbacks are Canadians. Also I think Johnson is mullato, or at least looks it to me.....
 
Johnson starts out white and then looks blacker the longer you look at him... or he just getting a tan as the season goes on? Yeah he's mullato, I think? Oh hell what are we supposed to do, call him up and ask him?

Anyway I like him enough to cheer for him. He's got great hands out of the backfield and had a breakout year last year.

Bennett may have a chance if he's moved to Slotback which was where he impressed me last year with the Renegades but I just can't see that happening. With the contraction of Ottawa the CFL is looking very tight at running back this year.

Of course with 250k a year salary John Avery might be the out the door...

True guys get cut in the CFL because of money so Bennett could make the team for that reason alone. As for the Johnson comment that is too funny..........

Bennett is going to get pushed aside. He's 30. He has no outstanding credentials. Even though he has great averages in the stats, and has done really well in limited playing time, they are not going to give him 20 carries a game. Or throw to him 5 times a game.

He has a very tough road ahead of him if he wants to acutally play. He is listed as a RB. He is behind Ricky Williams who the media and hence the sheep like fans, will want to see. In a league hungry for a buck, Ricky Williams, the moneymaker will be king while Bennett rots the remainder of his prime away.

P.S. Excuse my stereotyping, I could be wrong, but "Jeff is a regular player on the Argos' charity Frozen Boatmen hockey team." He could be white.Edited by: Freedom
 
I caught a little of Toronto's game last night against BC on TV. Sean Bennett turned a 10 yard reception over the middle into 41 yard gain. Unfortunatly, that was the only time I saw him touch the ball. He showed speed and elusiveness.

I did not see Eric Crouch at all. Stats ahow 1 carry for 2 yards. Toronto had a black QB who looked awful - 3 INT's no offense until it was garbage time. They lost 28-8.
 
That QB is a "legend", Damon Allen who is one of the most overrated QB's in the league's history. He is the younger brother of Marcus Allen and has floated around forever and compiled some amazing stats because of it. But except for a few years has never really been a great QB. He is similar to a Dave Kreig stats wise.
 
Sean Bennett is being used mostly as Recieving Tight End or a power slotback. He would have started at SB last week but broke his finger in a accident.
The Argos have had so many injuries on offense this year it's almost like the football Gods are mad at them.

It's common practice in the CFL to bring in a backup QB on short yardage plays to run a QB sneak or option. This is protect the starter from injury or make up for a pocket passer's lack of agility. That's where some of Eric Crotch's running stats come from.
