In a clash for the vacant WBA interim super bantamweight belt, unbeaten Scott Quigg (25-0-1, 18 KOs) scored a sixth round TKO over former Euro champion and world title challenger Rendall Munroe (24-3-1, 10 KOs).

Quigg dropped Munroe twice with body shots and the bout was waved off. Time was 2:37.

Quigg annihilates Munyai to retains WBA super bantamweight belt

WBA super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg (28-0-2, 21 KOs) scored a second round KO over late sub Tshifhiwa Munyai (24-3-1, 12 KOs) on Saturday night in Manchester, England.

Quigg dropped Munyai with a left hook at the end of round one. Quigg dropped Munyai again with a right hand in round two and finished him with his follow-up barrage. Time was 1:56.
