Sammy "Say It Ain’t" Sosa!!

Bonds did hit a few homers back when he was with Pittsburgh, but no where near what he did before he got bigger. Sammy on the other hand could barely hit it to the outfield coming up. I think if my memory is correct he had a bit of a different swing when he first came up with Texas. Juan Gonzales all over again! Heck, aren't the Rangers STILL paying Juan?

</div>The ghost of Sammy Sosa is upon us.





The former Cubs slugger, recently photographed during an appearance at Mandalay Bay Resort &amp; Casino in Las Vega, is drawing attention for his severely lightened complexion.





In addition, he appears to be wearing green contact lenses -- a change from his natural brown.





The
above photo shows Sosa on the left at a May 2009 People Magazine event.
The right is Sosa, who retired in 2007 with 609 career homers, earlier
this week in Las Vegas for the Latin Grammys.

</a>The cause of Sammy's skin condition is unknown, but guesses from around the web include vitiligo (a skin-whitening genetic condition that Michael Jackson claimed to suffer from), repercussions from steroid use, and "really bad makeup."





But a former Cubs rep told the Tribune he's going through some sort of skin rejuvenation process.





"He's not trying to be Michael Jackson," Rebecca Polihronis told the paper. "He was surprised he came out looking so white."





Polihronis,
who says she talks frequently with Sosa, thought it was a body double
when she saw the picture. She said part of why it looks so white is
"just the lighting."





"The picture is deceiving," she said.

When I first saw this weird photo of Sammy, I said man, this guy looks a cast member in that good 1970s sci fi movie "The Omega Man" starring the great actor Charlston Heston. Remember the blacks in the movie? Once they came down with the virus, they turned a weird greyish/pale color with light green eyes. Behold the today's version Sammy Pedosa! What a moron. Another black who wants to appear white/latin, but the experiment goes haywire. A big dummy!

Good one jaxvid, but I think the media would see to it that his home run totals would be attributed to his former black self.

Yes, it makes for a perfect media revisionist story: "Once Sosa became white, he lost all of his power and no longer could be expected to be the hitter he once was......."

Hahaha. Sammy was blacker than the ace of spades who does he think he is fooling looking like a mulatto? Did he get this idea from A-Fraud?

Now Sammy Steroids is saying the appearance of his skin is due to a cream he uses for softening it and that it looked even whiter in the above picture because of the camera flash.

It also appears to me that he's had some work done on his upper lip to make it thinner.

Or maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me, you know, the lighting and all.
 
His eye color has also changed, from black to green. Undoubtedly the always truthful Mr. Sosa will claim that's just another side effect.

Sammy looks like some transexual in men's clothing. In his mind he probably thinks he looks good, but he is just grotesque fool running around at award shows and such. The next phase to La Sosa is to grow his hair longer and conk it "MJ Style". What a train wreck of an appearance.
