Ryan Zimmerman

Along with Jeff Francouer another super exciting young player is Ryan Zimmerman. 3b-Washington. He is an ultra smooth athlete who looks to me like the best fielding third basemen to hit the bigs in a long while. I think he is even better than Rolen already. The next Brooks Robinson? Like Francouer he has tremendous potential.

Zimmerman and David Wright of the Mets will dominate the third base position for years to come in the NL... Well, and Scott Rolen who is still pretty young of course...

Wright is another blossoming star but I think Zimmerman has a more athletic body. Wright is kind of chunky for his age and is an ok but not great fielder. He is a good hitter.
