He was the new PF, with Rashard Lewis moved to SF. Ryan, who led the Pac-10 in scoring at Cal not so long ago, had 19 points and three blocked shots in first start.
Anderson is another incredibly efficient player who the scouts said was "too slow" to play in the NBA. He also started for about half the season two years ago.
This is great news. I still feel bad for Gortat. He only gets minutes off the bench would he could have been a starter in Dallas. He just might have become an all star like Chris Kaman. I'm happy for Ryan Anderson though. I watched him play alot in college.
Anderson went scoreless in just 7 minutes, despite the Magic trashing the Nets 105-90. No injury report or anything. It's simply that Anderson won't get much minutes with Pietrus and Bass around. Worse, Van Gundy has this unbelievable trust in Lewis playing both the 3 & 4 positions.
