Rookie try out Richter

Rams give a try out to Casey Richter, OL, Mcneese State. Casey is from St. Amant HS and was born in Prairieville, LA. Offensive Tackle Height: 6-6 Weight: 305. Was the only JR starter on the OL in 08 and SR starter on 09.

I hope he's given a credible opportunity. But isn't 6'6" at "only" 305 pounds considered "undersized" in this fat sumo league? How's he going to rub bellies with someone like Terrence Cody at that lean, athletic weight?

He came into college at 285 and by the draft he was up to 315 and still undersized. Hopefully coaches see his frame as a blank canvas to add muscle as a plus and not a negative like Mt. Cody who are just fat DTs
