Helenius needs to do more than have a high guard for defense. He looked like this against the Wolf and even Peter until his power shots took the starch out of their legs. Chisora created the impression he was walking him down, he needs to learn to step around charging opponents.

Helenius claims he broke his hand in the first round and I beleive him. He had Chisora staggered from a shot to the melon but never followed it up.

Robert said yes to a rematch. I hope his hand heals and he KOs Chisora this time.

Who has the better excuse? Boswell "wiff" a rotar cuff, Robert with a broken arm or Gaye "wiff" a broken toe.

Yes it was a poor performance by Helenius but I'm happy he still got the win. Whites have been robbed thousands of times against black fighters. This time our guy caught a break. Chisora is a POS and I really want someone to knock him out.

I need to see a replay of that round then. I don't recall anything like that happening.

I scored it a close decision win for Chisora. But after seeing many worse robberies against white boxers, I'm not going to complain about it.

Helenius said he injured his hand in the first round, and I believe him. I noticed Helenius hurt Chisora with a nice punch in the first round, and the negro backed off to the other side of the ring and then held on. But after that, Robert's punches didn't seem to be doing enough damage to cause the negro to back off like that. Helenius did snap Chisora's head back in the 12th round though, but he was probably hesitant to do more because of the pain.

Helenius does not have a scratch on him and does not look particularly tired.

He did look lethargic and I think he lost a close one.

I agree. I scored it as a close win for Chisora, but was more of a gift decision for Helenius, not really a robbery.

Kotelnik-Alexander

Matthysse-Judah

Those fights were real robberies.

I can't say I'm unhappy with the way this fight turned out. It only proves that nothing has really changed in boxing outside of Eastern Europeans can now compete in the pros. That is, boxing hasnt suddenly become weak as the media try to make us believe, but in reality the East Euros are just better than the western fighters.

The Finns, Swedes, Danes, ect, have had fifty years to give white fans a world champion and they couldn't do it. So I really could care less if Helenius won or lost. White fans don't need them now.

I'm not happy with this fight either. Helenius let the smaller guy back him up and his defensive skills were lacking. He didn't throw enough as well. He's nowhere near ready to fight the Klitschkos or even Povetkin who may be his next opponent.

The media isn't telling us boxing is weak in the lighter divisions. Only the heavier divisions are weak because of all the white champions.

I must admit I agreed with the announcers for once. I thought the repulsive negro won almost every round, and the silence of the crowd and the downcasst look on his fiance's face testified to that...not that I give a ****. Like the man said, I've seen more than enough white guys get robbed by crooked refs and judges, and at least nobody's belt got stolen this time as was the case when the crooks asserted that Gaye beat Valuev. Maybe H broke his hand like he said, because he sure didn't look impressive. On the other hand the repulsive negro did, relentless and tireless.

Speaking of Chisora, they tell you about him beating up a woman, but that's far from all. The invader from the African jungle has a long and violent criminal record. Of course they're not going to deport him back Rhodesia from whence he came. He's part of the plan to destroy the UK and Europe and the White race.

You need to go to the Zimbabwe news to find out about Dereck Chisora -

On the other hand Povetkin looked better than I've ever seen him. The Negro he KO'd, Boswell, seemed to be a decent sort. But I find it disturbing that he has hooked up with the Jewish-Russian Mafiya and the Jewish criminal Atlas.

Well, the robber gets robbed. Now he knows how it feels. Almost. Maybe somebody should have sucker punched Chisora from behind to really give him a feel for he has done to other people. I know we hate crooked decisions, but in the case of this thug Chisora...we'll take it.

Helenius had pulled away from the pack, but now he falls back into it with this poor performance. A broken hand would explain a lot.

Boswell is reaching here, if you have a rotar cuff injury your arm is useless and you are risking permanent injury if you fight with that injury. I think when Vitali retired against Byrd he had this injury. Helenius might have had this injury because after the first round he fought like an amateur boxer who just tries to touch the target but not punch through the target. As for Haye an athlete could probably lose his baby toe and he wouldn't notice it......

Some Finnish boxing fans are saying that Helenius suffered a minor injury in training to his right arm. A doctor advised that he not fight yesterday, and instead wait for it to be fully healed.

But Helenius and his management decided to go ahead with the Chisora fight anyway.

It's always a mistake for pro boxers to fight when they are not 100%, because in boxing, one poor performance can seriously damage a reputation and career.

Controversy seems unacceptable when a white fighter benefits from it.
One-armed Helenius retained his title and "boxing experts" say they don't buy the injured hand story whereas they believed their hero Hopkins after he quit against Dawson and they immediately pressured to instantly give his belt back.

On the other hand, maybe Boswell just sucks. He doesn't have any good wins and lost to Jameel Cline ten years ago. Plus he is 42 years old so it would have been a disaster if Povetkin had lost this fight or it had even been close.

Hopefully Helenius wasn't 100% for the whole fight because he basically lost this fight except on the score cards.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch in England or the U.S.

If Helenius really did break his hand he will KO Chisora or win an easy decision.

If not, Chisora will get the decision this time and Helenius will really be just one of the "also-rans" instead of a legit challenge to the Klitschkos.

Boswell is a very good fighter. Knocked out Greenberg, beat McCall and Owen Beck.
He was TKO'd by McCline in the tenth, but McCline is one of the most underrated fighters in boxing history only because he lost to Wladimir. Jameel McCline knocked out Michael Grant, Charles Shufford and Boswell. Won every round against Briggs, lost a SD to Byrd, knocked Sam Peter down three times, rocked Valuev before his knee went out, lost a close UD to Brock and Ruiz. And went ten rounds with Wladimir Klitschko who is probably the greatest heavyweight in boxing history...So there's no shame in losing to McCline...

Yes, there's a double standard.

Well McCall was 45 and with ten losses at the time and Owen Beck is a bum. Or at least I consider him a bum.

McCline somehow managed to lose almost all his big fights. I guess he wasn't a bum because he was at least competitve with guys who weren't bums.

Boswell is 42 years old however so I fully expected Povetkin to win by at least a large UD.

People from Finland are posting on other sites that Helenius may have a serious injury to his right arm/hand and will likely not be able to fight his mandatory Dimitrenko in February.

They say Helenius will likely be stripped of the European title, and it will instead be Dimitrenko-Chisora for the vacant title, with the winner obligated to fight Helenius when he's healthy.

I have been a diehard boxing fan for over 10 years, I would say I have an exceptional boxing knowledge of current game and in-fight tactics etc (Dont mean to brag but its true).

One of the great things about being a boxing fan these days is the reality that white, European fighters are simply the most dominant in boxing today. The Klitschko brothers are truly alltime greats, and Wlad Klitschko W 12 David Haye was really, probably the best result of alltime for white boxers.

Recent white boxers like Joe Calzaghe, Kostya Tszyu, Wlad & Vitali Klitschko are some of the best boxers of any era, of alltime. These white fighters routinely smashed and beat up any black boxer they faced. The media always tries to downplay their acheivements. But even in that bias, the greatness of these fighters is still recognized.

Having said all that, let me give my opinion on Robert Helenius and the Helenius/Chisora, Povetkin/Boswell fight card.

Robert Helenius: Ive ALWAYS been skeptical of him. I see a lot of posters on this site are trying to compare Helenius to Klitschko's, and try to say he's the next in line. WRONG. Helenius is B level, Klitschko's are A+ level. Helenius will NEVER be anywhere close to the level of skill or achievement as Klitschko's. These comparisons are truly disturbing.

I admit that Robert's wins over Brewster, Oloukun, Levin, Lyakhovich were great results and show he has great promise. I always was skeptical of Helenius. I think he is a bit raw, lacks speed and movement, and I question his mental toughness.

I feel other white boxers such as Klitschko brothers, Denis Boytsov are better than him. i also feel that Povetkin, Fury, Abdusalamov, and Chakhkiev are also on par with or better than him.

Robert Helenius/Dereck Chisora fight: Chisora clearly won the fight and Helenius was awarded a non-earned decision (Hey i wont complain, white boxers are always robbed VS blacks in USA ie Kotelnik/Alexander, Matthyse/Judah etc, so Ill take this result anyway!).

Chisora is a tough fighter and theres no shame in having a competitive fight with him. Chisora is a capable, tough guy. Having said that, I feel that Robert was adversely affected by Chisora's intimidation.

Before the fight at the weigh-in, Chisora slapped Helenius in the face and was yelling at him. Sometimes this behaviour can negatively affect Helenius, if Helenius is not mentally strong.

So, what Im saying is Helenius is not mentally strong, confident enough, so Chisora gained a mental advantage. I also feel Helenius' skills are overrated and thats why the fight was so close.

Alexander Povetkin/Cedric Boswell fight: Povetkin looked great, in my opinion, one of the better performances in his career alongside his KO of Byrd back in 2007.

It was nice watching this Negro get completely knocked the **** out in front of like 20,000 fans. lol! It was also great that this fight was shown live, so millions of people would have watched the KO at home.

BIG WIN for white boxers and Povetkin looked great. Povetkin in the past has been harshly criticized (I admit I was also critical of him), but he really turned it up in this fight.

Id say based on this fight, Povetkin is the unquestionable #3 guy at heavyweight after the Klitschko brothers.

EMPHATIC KO WIN AND A GREAT RESULT FOR WHITE BOXERS. Congrats to Alex!

Povetkin/Boswell was just priceless and I had a huge smile on my face.

It was great watching this negro get KO'd brutally in front of several thousand people, and millions of people at home.

Awesome result. No disrespect to Boswell personally, but Im always happy when a white gets a big win (KO win is better) in front of a massive audience.

Great result for our cause.
