A true icon of professional wrestling past away last week. Legendary “Memphis Wrasslin” announcer Lance Russell passed away at age 91. Russell (& friend Jerry Lawler) were the “faces” of Memphis “wrasslin” for 40+ years. I consider Russell the second best pro wrestling announcer of all time (only after Gordon Solie & before Jim “JR” Ross). Sadly, Russell passed a few days after his daughter (Valerie) lost her battle with cancer.
