Reed Sheppard deserving of his own thread!
He gets another start tonight for the Rockets and leading them to victory and is scoring leader! Sheppard with 27 points, 9-14/ 6 assists and 4 rebounds, and NO turnovers.
Hopefully he has cemented his place as the permanent starter!
I was very doubtful about him, but I'm glad I was wrong. I figured because of his size 6'2 maybe, more like 6'0, he would get the McClung treatment. I do find it interesting that Sheppard for the most part is getting treated fairly, but Mac is not. They are similar. Right?
Thoughts anyone?

I agree about Sheppard and I'm glad he has a thread now. He is so fun to watch.

With McClung it just seems personal. He saved the NBA Dunk Contest and he has saved the NBA G League. His skin color
is a big part but his 50 inch vertical combined with his all star ability to take over games. He disproves way too many false
stereotypes and the powers that shouldn't be won't allow him to embarass the brothers on a nightly basis.

I am slightly hopeful that with NBA expansion he may get a chance on a crappy new team that is created. I sure hope so as the
nba is his dream. He has turned down millions to play overseas! Mac McClung deserves so much better!

If there is expansion, it won’t be until ‘27-‘28 season. He’ll be nearly 30, and there’s no reason to believe an expansion team will want him, considering he can’t get a cup of coffee with the shitiest teams in the league. The trash bulls called him up for tonight’s game against the trash pacers and only gave him eight minutes. He will never be given an opportunity. That is clearly the strategy.

I love Sheppard but Mac is on a whole other level athleticism wise and is probably just as good of a shooter and passer.
