Just a little follow-up, for those who don't live in the DC area: Before this past Sunday's game vs. the Eagles, the local papers quoted St. Joe Gibbs and defensive genius Gregg Williams as saying Archuleta would see action playing sort of a hybrid LB/S, in other words, up close to take advantage of his strenghts. Well, guess what? -- St. Joe and Mr. Defensive Genius turned out to be outright liars. Archuleta played on special teams only! SPECIAL TEAMS!! The highest-paid safety in the NFL playing on special teams. Can you imagine the public outcries of racism if this were done to Sean Taylor, the guy who should be riding the bench? My God, the Reverends Jackson, Sharpton, Ray Lewis, Charles Rangel, and all their little lemming co-horts would be all over the talking-head shows proclaiming their outrage.
