Anybody want to help him franchise his shop?


Ilived in Greenville for a year before moving back overseas and know the area of this shop pretty well. Even if someone finds stuff in his shop objectionable, I still think he has a right to freedom of speech through the products he sells.


If the good Rev. wants to fight hate in the community, I hope he also takes the time to stop by local music shops that sell crap demeaning to whites and women in general. You know, practice what you preach. C`mon, Rev., you must have more important things to do in the black community-like helping people stay out of jail, or trying to get them to take care of their families, (i.e. going to work, not having illegitimate kids etc.)-instead of spending time hassling a white shop owner.

It's comical how the media continues to portray blacks as the 'underdog', when everyone knows full well that once they start whining and crying about the most trivial "offenses", whites will back down and give in.

Does the media have nothing better to report on? I mean, come on. CNN won't even show the picture of the black man who murdered Eve Carson, so law enforcement officials can actually apprehend a murderer who remains a threat to the public.

I applaud the gentleman who owns the store. The Constitution gives him the right to operate the store, obviously. I'll have to make the drive down there to make a few purchases and encourage my buddies who live down south to do the same.

By helpingthe guy`s business out by improving his bottom line, and by people getting the message out about how he is being harrassed, maybe he`ll be able to stay inbusiness.Anyway, the article writer`s intent to portray the shop owner as the bad guy may just backfire on him as the "Redneck Shop" gets a lot of free publicity.

I saw this article but the Colonel beat me to posting it here. I think it's funny that he gets to operate the store until he dies. That's the longest lease i've ever heard of. I hope he continues to make yearly profits and i'm going to try to visit the store as soon as i'm down that way. Just walking in with a bunch of protestors in front of the door will make my day.
