I have many I can list but I will start with two that are off to a great start.Adam Dunn and Jim Thome.They both have 4 homeruns already in the first couple of weeks of the season!I can't wait to see Thome hit his 500th homerun.He has had a great career and doesn't appear to be slowing down just yet!

I really like Thome-I remember him from the Cleveland days. Dunn is a big guy. I also like Paul Konerko, Lance Berkman and Richie Sexton. I'd like to see them all hit a lot of homeruns this season. I also like Jeff Bagwell.
When I was a young guy my favorite HR hitters were Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Ted Williams, Rocky Colavito, Mike Schimdt, Johnny Bench, Harmon Killebrew among some others.

In addition to Adam Dunn, Mark Texiera, Morgan Ensberg and Travis Hafner are all young players who are already big-time power hitters. Jason Giambi, Troy Glaus, and Chipper Jonesare big-time veteran sluggers. Some other veterans who aren't necessarily among the elite homerun hitters but who still have shownexcellent power over their careers are Mike Piazza, Jim Edmonds, Jeff Kent, Todd Helton, Pat Burrell, Scott Rolen, and Shawn Green. Other young players who have good power include Chase Utley (a second baseman), Jason Bay, Austin Kearns, Aubrey Huff, Rocco Baldelli, Chris Shelton, and Hank Blalock. Edited by: Don Wassall

Being from Philly, I love Burrell but Utley especially. He hit 28 homers last year I believe despite starting the season on the bench behind Polanco. The Phillies tried to keep Polanco at the 2B as long as they could but Utley is a fan favorite and he produces. They knock his defense but he's also a good defender. He's a guy who will hit 30 homers and steal 30 bases a year.. he's gonna be a great player.

Don't forget Justin Morneau for the Twins as he already has 4 homers and is in just his second year.

David Wright 3B NYM...absolute beast and by the end of the season will be the best 3B in baseball.

Chris Shelton of the Tigers is a great young hitter who is going to be a good power guy.

Utley has hit 4 homers in his last 2 games including a grand slam last night.. man this kid awesome...

Although I'm not happy he's no long playing for the Phillies, ya gotta give it up to Jim Thome.. Great start for Jim and he is a true class act of a person. Hopefully some of these white players can run away with the HR title, and especially from Barry Bonds..

There have been quite a few homers pounded over the walls so far this year. Makes me wonder why? Are the batters still juicing? Is the ball juiced? Are the pitchers stretched too thin?

Chris Shelton was named(obviously) AL player of the week. Way to go Chris! Although in any other week it probably would have been Travis Hafner as this South Dakota native has been tearing it up with 6 HRs already and a major league leading 17 runs 11 RBIs and oh yeah a .394 average. Hafner and Shelton are putting up some sick numbers.
