By the way, in the first few rounds I think Povetkin was getting to Chambers more than it appeared. Eddie looked like he was blocking most of Povetkins punches, but his gloves were so close to his face and head he was still absorbing some of their shock. They weren't clean punches, but they took a toll.

I agree, he landed more punches than the commentators gave him credit for. He clearly threw some hooks and uppercuts that landed, even if they hit the gloves as well. I actually pressed the mute button for a round or two, it got pretty irritating after a while. And I'm glad I read the results before the fight, otherwise the first half of that fight would've been very stressful!
