This is huge fight. The winner places himself in the top 5 PFP fighter ranks. I believe Crawford right now is the best and most complete black fighter in lower weights. Postal will have his hands full. Postal, however, is long. He is like a smaller Kovalev. If he can use his length and box with occasional dropping of hard rights he can win. Crawford like I said is complete with power. And he has great stamina & endurance.

If Postal can use the game plan I laid and have the stamina and endurance a great win against a 'A' tier fighter is within reach.

There is a video of Postal's media work out on Youtube. He looks sharp on the mitts and his body is ripped.

My worry is Postol needs a knockout. He won't get a decision and he isn't a very big puncher. He's going to have to knock black hope Crawford out.

How times have changed. Ten years ago -or less- the black myth was still widely accepted and held fast. Today, with the dominance of so many lethal white fighters, the myth, while it main remain common lore, has few characters to enact it. The protected, contrived, career of Mayweather Jr. is over and, though he was but one man, with him the flag of that cultural fairy tale was still widely waved.

Today on boxing forums I do not read the dominant presumption in this fight is that Crawford will win though Crawford is, as Westside wrote, "the best and most complete black fighter in lower weights". A unmistakable doubt has set in the minds of core North American boxing fans. Postol is skilled, tough, strong, and very tall for Jr.Welterweight (5,11 1/2") and the sure win is no longer a certainty.

They're records are the same, but I suspect Crawford has more knock outs on his resume because he fought more lighter, smaller men than Postol. Crawford's power won't be a problem for Postol who not only took Matthysse's grenades but he returned his own bombs and knocked Matthysse out. Postol is unlike anyone Crawford has already fought. Postol's reach may be too much for Crawford and the shots coming in to get in may ruin his style and plans. I'm predicting tough fought U.D. for Postol knocking Crawford down at least once.

Postol lost a wide UD to Crawford. My prediction was wrong. Crawford was faster and stronger at the weight than Postol, and, on this evening, showed better boxing skills, strategy, and tactics. To his credit Postol fought hard through a knockdown in the fifth and won the last two rounds with a more determined, viscous, effort. Had Postol fought the full fight like the last two rounds he would have won.

King **** Kellerman of HBO, who swears to the black myth, couldn't stop drooling over Crawford all evening and even came up with this Caste gem: "American (meaning black) fighters' style is that they out-think the rest of the world..." (implying that's why they are supposedly the best though where are they in the world rankings???)

Postol and Roach messed up. Around round 8, they should have known they were down at least 4 to 6 points. Postal should have thrown caution to the wind and went for the KO, like he did in round 11. He need to take the risks to do so, even tho that meant walking into a shot. Like I said, Crawford is complete and played it safe by movement and actually hurting Postol. Oh well, can not win them all. Hopefully Postol learns from this.

I think the turning point happened when Postal the longer man became the hunter, he gave up his reach and big man advantage. Maybe the end result would be the same but until he was nailed late in the 4th, Crawford looked wary and slightly confused on how to land and get by the long jab.

Freddie Roach might not be able to bring out the best in Postal as Manny and his other fighters have never been mini Wlad or Tommy Hearns clones.
