After a full week of baseball White Sox fan's are really embrassing Podsednik. There has been talks of a fan club a'la Konerko's Korner, Rowand's Row, and Crede's Crew. Thats really nice to see the fan support these player's in Chicago. I think they're calling it the Pod Squad.

Well I agree he is one of the most exciting players on the base path right now. In one game he capitalized on two mistakes. He reached on by an error, stole second, and thrid, and scored on a wild pitch. Right now he currently has 4 stolen bases on 5 attempts although he was robbed of the 5th stolen base.

Today he left the game with what I think they were calling a groin injury. It didn't sound like he would miss any playing time though. Atleast he won the game with a RBI single. He is batting .280 avg

Thought I'd keep you updated as there was some worries how Chicago would use him.Edited by: Bear-Arms

Hopefully, Podsednik gets some more attention. It would be a shame for a truly gifted athlete to be denied respect.

Poesednik is a gifted athlete but he isn't that great of a hitter, He will not be mistaken for jim edmonds or rocco baldelli any time soon. However it is good to see him have a nice start.

Scott hit .314 in '03, which was his first season as a starter. That's outstanding. He fell off last year to .244, but I wouldn't write him off as a hitter just yet.

Podsednik is the most dangerous baserunner in MLB right now hands down. The boy's got wheels and can read a pitcher like a book.

a pace that hasn't been seen in years.Podsenik is one
of the most exciting players in all of Baseball.Brian
Roberts is tied for 2nd in steals too.

Scott has 9 more SBs than anyone else in the majors and is currently on pace to have just under 100 steals for the season.

Podsednik currently ranks 13th in the American league with on base %. He's currently batting a respectable .277 avg. He missed a few games due to a groin injury so he missed like 6 games. He did have a 300 avg before that year hebatted .244! I get to see him play every game on television and I definitely think he has hitting ability. He doesn't have great power, but he wins games. He gets pitchers out of their rhythm. When he is on base they just fall apart because they worry about him stealing so much. He's just really fun to watch game in game out.

Pods had another good game stealing his 24th base and getting 2 hits bring his avg up to .285! Also, he scored 2 runs, and ranks 32nd in that category.

White Sox are looking really good this year. Buerhle(7-1) and Garland(8-0) look great. Konerko will be one ofthe league leader in HRs. Their new closer Hermanson is yet to be scored on. Pryzenski is on fire right now and calling great games. Rowand and Crede both are solid. Podsednik has 26 SB now. Finally put some white atheletes on the teamand you end up with the best record in the major leagues. GO WHITE SOX!

Maybe they are finally starting to believe in putting more White than just Sox on the field! Couldn't help it.

He's on pace to steal 98!!!!! bases. Holy crap! That would be in the top 10 for season steals of all time.

Konerko, is not batting that well this year. But it's not like the team overall is hitting that well. Dye, is batting a lot worse, and Carl Everett is not to far behind. Konerko, still has 11 homeruns and 33 driven in. I would say thats not bad for someone batting well below 250.
