Is that guy crazy? Hockey is one of the fastest most intense sports out there. Wow hook the brothers up with some skates lets see them go out there and compete. They may have another muscle in their leg to help them run, but most of thier ankles are too skinny to handle skating.

The "Sports Media Watch" are clearly a bunch of idiots. The idea that a kid rationally decides which sport to play based upon his chances of being a pro at it are retarded. Furthermore the demographic for hockey and the other sports is different. Even if you bought the superior athlete nonsense it isn't even part of the equation as whites don't compete with blacks in hockey.

Also the "Dressing up in silly padded custumes and banging into things never counted for atlethic prowess where most of us grew up" comment is bizarre as that descibes football more then it does hockey.

Commentary from this group is illogical and thus not worth considering.

I'd put hockey players up against black football players any day when it comes to toughness and athleticism. Sounds like jealousy that hockey's TVratings were up so much, along with the vicious anti-white hatred that animates the ruling class in America.

BTW, the Red Wings are an amazingly good team. The Penguins gave it all they had but spent way too much time just trying to get the puck out of their defensive zone. Detroit's passing game all the way up and down the ice is something to behold.

One of the great mysteries is how Evgeni Malkin overnight went from one of the best players in the NHL to one of the worst. The better team won, but the series might have beenplayed on somewhat more even termsif Malkin hadn't inexplicably lost his game.

Going up against Lidstrom and Rafalski for a whole series can make even the most elite players look overmatched. I agree that Malkin had a bad series and hopefully it will be a learning experience and not a career long playoff trend for the young man. He was playing decently before he ran in to the Red Wings.

That is Jimmy the Greek garbage. Hockey players have the stamina of soccer players and the strength of football players, plus the eye-hand coordination of baseball players. I would rate them up there with any world class athletes.

It also didn't help the Penguin cause that after working so hard to get possession of the puck from the Wings they regularly coughed it up immediately. If you're trailing and having a hard time getting the puck in the first place it's vital that you not give it up so cheaply.
