This could explain why they are constantly making remakes. I can see the following scene:
"I don't care what it is about, but it made a lot of money 15 years ago and I need a fix. Make sure their are roles for young boy, for I want to cast them."

Keep in mind that, until 1973, homosexuality itself was rightly classified by the American Psychiatric Association as a mental illness. But, that was changed.

If you don’t think the same thing is eventually going to happen for pedophiles you’re probably kidding yourself. While it may still seem far-fetched to us now, it’s no more absurd than sodomite marriage was to our parents, or interracial marriage was to our grandparents.

Give it another fifteen years or so and let’s see if those of us who oppose pedophilia are labeled as HATERS.
