Calvin Lowry is a starting defensive back who plays kind of a rover position. Mark Rubin played a lot at WR as a freshman last year and is in the running for a starting job. Michael Robinson is listed as the starting QB, but he'sJoe Paterno'sversion ofKordell Stewart as he's an "ath-a-lete" who can't throw accurately or read defenses; he should be a receiver or running back. Penn State has a stud QB recruit in sophomore Anthony Morelli. Hopefully he'll become the starter at some point during '05.
