He has two offers right now Akron (MAC) and UConn (Big East). I think he is going to take one of these schools before the high school season starts. I know he wants to keep the school in a 5 1/2 hour time window of home. He did have recent interest from Iowa as a running back and Michigan as a safety. Syracuse wants to look at him more during this season. I think it will be to late then. Edited by: Sandman

Whichever school he picks I hope he does very well. Being from Pennsylvania, Akron might be closer to home for him.

I hope he keeps his options open and maybe this season if he plays great again more colleges will take notice.

Plus if he would get injured in his senior year he would still have the committed school. An injury and no commit could mean no scholarship. If he wasn't white I bet he would have ten offers now.
Both schools are like choosing death by a poison of your choice. Akron is buried near the bottom of the Mac and UConn is a doormat in the Big least(now that Miami left and the Cuse suck). If those were the only two offers I got I guess I would choose UConn as they would play higher profile teams. Now if he is a serious student maybe he could try for a Vanderbilt or a Rice. These two schools have never turned away any talent for their teams as most top players can't cut it at these schools because of their rigourous academic standards....

Actually Akron is program on the rise having won the MAC Championship game last year and UCONN won a bowl game two years ago. I know they're not household programs but they are certainly better than Florida Atlantic or Temple and many other programs.

Yea he should really consider UCONN and Akron. UCONN is in the big east and faces teams like Louisville and WVU so playing well against them will get peoples attention and the MAC has become a respectable conference known for its QBs so scouts do pay some attention to it. He can always go west though or walk on. I do not see what the big deal about him making a decision before his senior year because he could create more interest this season if he improves on his already stellar career.
