Here are your starting white Okies for 2005.

Offense
QB-Rhett Bomar In competition with a black for starting job. I give Rhett the nod.
C-Chris Bush

Defense
DT-Dusty Dvoracek

FB Russell Dennison will see significant playing time, as will TE Joe Jon Finley, 4 backup linemen, and MLB Ryan McGrath. Oklahoma has really went black over the last 5 years. It is showing this year more than ever. I bet they don't do as well. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

Come on Nebraska beat the Sooners. Oklahoma has turned into a very PC school. Remember a few years ago when they had a black head coach and were the biggest bums in football?

C. J. Ah You??!!?

Reb, I don't know if you're aware of it, but if you go to Google and then click "Images" (right next to "Web" at the top) and then type in someone's name, if there are photos of him they'll show up. It's not an exact science, especially with common names, but you can narrow it by adding words like "Oklahoma" or "BYU" etc.A lotof these guys aren't well known enoughto have any pics on the 'net, but it's a tool out there for anyone to use. This is what I found for J. D. Runnels:

Sorry Don, looks like the Runnels picture I saw was the wrong one. I'll take him off. As for Ah You, he is either Hawaiian/Samoan, or hispanic, I'm not sure, but I can get rid of him too. I just figured I'd leave some of those guys up there since there are so few of them.

John Blake was the black head coach at Oklahoma-his record was 12-22[at Oklahoma!!!]. It was the worst 3 year stretch in school history. Oklahoma gets most of there players from Texas-HEY SOONERS THEY HAVE WHITE PLAYERS IN TEXAS!! By the way Ohio State,Nebraska and Iowa have no trouble winning with White Males. I hope Kansas beat's the Sooners!!! The best Sooner Coach was Bud Wilkerson.

Reb, Blake was at OU from 1996-98. He was easily the worst college football coach I have ever seen.

Man, I thought it was in the 80's or something. I can't believe the turnaround they had after he left, because by 2000 they were kicking rear and taking names.

John Blake was a very bad Head Coach-Bob Stoops really turned the Sooners around and made them winners again. Bob Simmons was a black Head Coach at Oklahoma State and he was also very bad-Les Miles turned the program around. Denny Green did very poorly at Northwestern-but Gary Barnett took the Wildcats to the Rose Bowl. These black coaches were given a chance and failed, then a White coach came and turned the programs around.Ty Willingham did nothing for Norte Dame football. Instead of crying for more black coach's-lets have more White players!

In fact, Stoops won a national championship largely with the players Blake recruited.

Anyone familiar with OU's history knows how Barry Switzer used race to rebuild the OU football machine. Switzer used to tell players like Earl Campbell and Raymond Clayborne, 'you don't want to go to TEXAS! How are you going to like looking across the line in the Cotton Bowl and seeing all those brothers lined up against you? How are you going to like being in the huddle and being surrounded by white faces?'

Switzer even had an "affirmative action" Black coach on his staff, Wendell Mosley. Judging Mosley solely by the way Switzer treats him in "Bootlegger's Boy," Mosely was a dishonest buffoon. Mosley was a lousy coach at Texas Southern just as the current Secretary of Education, Rod Paige, was.

Boy, he used race well, didn't he. That's about as bad as Bear Bryant's speech to his players after the 1970 USC game.

Bud Wilkerson's Oklahoma teams won 47 games in a row from 1953-1957[the division 1-A record]. He did it with mostly White players. My favorite all-time Sooner was Steve Owens.

Here's an interesting note. As a player, Bob Stoops was a four year starter at defensive back for Iowa and was an honorable mention All-American his senior year. You would think that a coach with his background would have the ability to look past stereotypes and give some white kids a shot of playing the skill positions.

Seems for some strange reason, those guys are the world's worst Caste System groupies.

Gary, many of the players that made up Wilkinson's fifties juggernaut came from little towns in West Texas. Back in those days when guys had to play both ways (which my grandfather always called 'White man's football') character was a key ingredient in recruiting players and those small town Texas boys, raised up on a church and chores philosophy, had it (just like those Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Georgia boys).

As for Steve Owens, he's also my favorite Sooner by far. I have had the good fortune to meet him a couple of times and he is pure class. Damn good pounding fullback too.

I have talked with several players from the 40's and 50's who seem to look down on the shift to the platoon system of football. They refer to guys who played back then as tough, because they had to play all the time. I don't disagree with them. The only thing you hear about those days now though is that is was all whites and therefore no good. They don't speak of 2-way players often or Ironman football, which is what I call it. I got a taste of it in Junior High, and I can't imagine what it was like for a guy in the NFL to play all the time. Talk about stamina! Character was also a HUGE part of it. These guys had to have something to keep them going. I think if that style of play was more common, you would see less blacks in the game.

We played both ways all the way into my senior year of high school because our coaches were old school and believed that your best players were needed on the field. By the time I was a senior, there were only 15 of us left on the varsity and two of them were on crutches.

The style points become less important when you know that you've got double duty coming up. Watching my sons teams, I see a lot of kids who want to play "Neon Deon" rather than football. Make em work a little and the fun seems to fizzle. hell I don't even see kids hustling on the practice field anymore or even trying to get the fundamentals down.

Thats why we see a lack of tackling ability in college and the pros these days. There is not as much learning or discipline in most teams.

I like your posts Bronk & Colonel Reb- that Church and Chores philosophy is what made America great. Hard Work,Determination,Faith,Strong Family Ties! My Dad's generation came through the depression and then fought WW2-They were tough and solid. Marciano had more determination then any fighter I have ever know-that plus hard training made him unbeatable. Funny growing up in Akron,Ohio we had lots of Eastern/Southern Europeans-they were called Dago or Hunkie-now we wish we had more of them and less Mexicans/Vietnamese. Strange now the White people cheer for the Russians in Sports. When I was a boy people dug bomb shelters because we thought the Russians were going to blow us up! I wish more Poles,Irish,Germans,Italians,Etc were coming here instead of the brown invasion.

Yeah Gary, me too, but I wish most of all, we American whites would get back to the beliefs and principles that made us the greatest country on the planet. Sadly, we have lost much of it and the desire to have a lot of children, to work hard, and to root for our own kind. We have become a lazy people, and we are now seeing the consequences and paying the price for our laziness.

Colonel Reb-I agree 100% with you! I have 5 kids and want them to get a good education and work hard. I'd like to see White families have lots of kids but Mormons and Amish are the only ones I know off who are having more then 2 or 3. I'd like to see the Whites in America get tough and strong again-I see some young Whites who are rugged but many look about as tough as Mr.Rogers with the flu. Yes we have become soft and lazy[not all but to many]. The young whites have been brainwashed by the PC media and public school system into thinking there a bunch of schmucks who can't compete with blacks in sports or feel "bad" because of some past sin. I say HORSE POOP!!White people have made more progress in this world then all the other races put together! As far as sports go-Check who gets the most GOLD MEDALS in the Olympics!!

We just have to keep spreading the word about the discrimination against whites to people. Eventually, some will come to see it and do something about it. Caste Football is doing a good job of starting this process. We have to take it from here and run with it.
